"During a five day stay in Mexico City at the end of November 2011 we enjoyed a delightful dinner at the Parillada Don Elias in the Nueva Santa Maria neighborhood (just north of Polanco and northwest of the Zocalo . Our menu selections included yuaces, a combination of Lebanese bread and many choices of grilled meat, vegetable, and cheese toppings; a truly delicious sopa Azteca (Aztec soup , and arrachera (flank steak grilled over a wood fire in the Argentinian style. Our dessert was,of all things, homemade banana bread with a delicious sauce. Our hosts were the owners, Raul and Zaide Ramirez and their son Elias Ramirez, proprietor of the sports bar Jeye 's, next door. The service was attentive and friendly. (Elias is the nephew of the restaurant 's namesake, Elias Yapur, whose photograph--together with a number of famous fellow actors of years past--were on the wall. It is an adventure to find a restaurant with this much charm in a city of 29 million people. The prices are very reasonable and the food and beverages are outstanding."

"One of the best pizzas I´ve had in Mexico. I used to live in Brazil, where is one of the best places in the world to eat pizza, and I´ve been searching for a long time for a place like Cumana. They have a great pizza menu, with several options (vegetarian included) and some of them can even be folded into a Calzone. I did not had the chance to try other type of food, but I saw what was being delivered at other tables and everything looked and smelled really good. I definitely recommend this place."

"This restaurant is part of a chain. It offers both buffet (one price) style menu or à la carte. We went there twice because we liked its buffet. The price may appear steep but everything is as much as you want. Including drinks like beer. We tasted a lot of what was available in the buffet and found everything to our liking. For the breakfast, as an example you will find: Juices and fresh fruits, waffles, hot cakes, omelettes and eggs. For you Spanish speaking people: Omelettes De Jamón y Queso, Delicioso Omelette relleno de queso amarillo y jamón, servido con chilaquiles. De claras Con queso panela, espinacas y jitomate en rodajas. For lunch, which is when we went, there were several soups. If you are lucky, there will be sopa Azteca. Try it. Also, sandwiches and hamburgers, enchiladas and tacos, a salad bar with meat, cheeses and vegetables, chicken, beef and fish, a dessert bar and drinks such as Red bull, cerveza and Michelada. Micheladas you have to try: it is a concoction prepared thus: rim your glass with chile piquin and kosher salt, Fill it with 1 liter of Corona beer, add Maggi Sauce, Salsa Valentina and juice from ½ or 2 limes. And there you have it, Michelada. You are supposed to drink this with a long straw."

"Recebemos um folheto ao passar pelo restaurante e vimos que os preços dos pratos eram tão bons, que resolvemos voltar para jantar e não nos arrependemos. Há várias opções de comidas mexicanas ou não, só achamos o preço da cerveja um pouco salgado. Recomendo Camarones Panchitos e Lomo de huachinango, pratos que pedimos e gostamos muito."

"No soy muy aficionado a comer hamburguesas pero si hay hamburguesas buenas en el D F son las de este restaurante.Hay mucha variedad, son muy grandes las porciones, no hay paquetes las bebidas y las papas se deben pedir aparte. Las papas las sirven en unas canastas bastante grandes por lo que aconsejo se compartan.También tienen ensaladas, muy abundantes y buenas por cierto.Muy recomendable."
