"I, my friend, our two young babies came into the tee room today. we had a nice lunch between the baby requirements. a special thank you to the dame in the tee room, which was extremely helpful was patient especially since it was one of the first paintings, I had taken my 7 months away to eat his lunch! I hope we haven't let too much of a chaos. Thank you. a beautiful relaxing place to lunch or a talk about a cuppa (and the cake looked good! x"

"What a wonderful find! Popped in for a cuppa and we were so very glad we did! A lovely cream tea and the food that was being served looked awesome! Not often you enter a cafe/bar and they are playing one of your favourite bands and another one is playing a gig in April. The cafe itself was lovely, very child friendly and we felt very welcome. The staff were so kind and thoughtful. We will be back (hopefully for some live music)"

"Yummy house is a takeaway only facility that only accepts cash and currently does not deliver. they have the task of competing with long established cafe asia at the bottom of the city, but after expressing cafe asia our nutritional needs and they send us mixed noodles, we tend to stay with the equally delicious yummy house. yummy make a conscious effort to be accessible to vegans. her menu is a little confusing that her meat substitutes are labeled with vegetarian duck/fangs, but I assume that this is more due to the translation. When I asked for roasted rice without a fried rice, they immediately asked if we were vegan. we have tried and enjoyed a few meat substitute dishes, and the tofu option is a firm favorit. my only critique is the second time that we friend reis with the ei removed, it was definitiw ei in the order. not much, and when we arrange it, the person on the phone was 100% sure there was no ei. we were 100% sure that it. I think what happened was a separate pan not used or cleaned in between. not ideal, and we didn't order the rice, but I think it was a mistake in the kitchen."

"Stayed a couple of nights here whilst visiting Salcombe. Close enough to Salcombe to drive there in 10 minutes but away from the madness and crowds of Salcombe. Room was ideal for one person, clean and with a big newly renovated bathroom, good size TV and kettle. Quiet at night Very nice host who provided a great breakfast. Nice pub to spend time in at the evenings To be recommended Rooms: 4"
