"I sort of liked this little cozy place. The food was great a so was the service. If you are a tourist, always remember to carry your own water bottle and to fill it up wherever possible because Bali makes a lot my selling water bottles itself and water is pretty costly. A small 600 ml bottle costs around 15-35k Indonesian Rupiah depending on how touristy the place is. They do not serve water along with the food which is a big shock for me as an Indian. So keeping the water thing apart. The food was great, the ambience clean and yeah you can give this place a try while you are in Bali."

"Still the best after 30 years since my last visit. Eating is very delicious and traditional. the interiors have not changed much and retain their original charm. service is friendly and eating is cheap. comes back whenever in bali!"

"Kuta is not the best place for vegans in Bali and finding a restaurant with a vegetarian menu is not so easy. This restaurant has a good menu, with an interesting vegetarian offer... But just the menu is nice. I ordered a seaweed salad, which came with salmon and had to be replaced (I am vegan) and which was too fishy even after they replaced it (I had many seaweed salads in Asia, and this one is the first one I could not eat it). I ordered also a Nasi Campur Vegetables, which came cold... very bad. The tofu was good though, and probably also the vegetables (if they only came hot. Tempeh was very bad. My husband had a tofu burger. Not a real burger, more tofu and lots of onions on some bread. He said it was good. Maybe I was unlucky and I chose the wrong dishes. The lemon juice tasted like dish soap. Staff nice. Place nice. Location ok."

"Hidden at a pathway. It’s quiet on lunch time, but friend told it’ll crowd during dinner time maybe due to the weather. It’s hot and not in windy location. Although got ceiling fans indoor but feels hotter than outdoor. Ordered Fried Chicken Bumbu Bali, its delicious especially with the savory sauce. Mango juice (smoothie) which I requested without ice and sugar, taste a bit bland and sour. Maybe it’ll be better if in normal version or maybe not. Still a recommended place, food is not bad with reasonable price and it’s tax free whereby others restaurant might charge you additional 11% government tax 5%-10% service charge. — Visited 22 May 2019 —"
