"This is a great place in Lake Placid! They have no frit, but what they can do with the menu is fantastic. I had an open to reubs that was delicious and we had their nachos as an app. The view is fantastic and prices are good according to COVID standards. The staff is pleasant and helpful and the meal was well kept. After dinner you can always take a short walk along the street."

"Food was great....the staff friendly.... service was a bit slow from the kitchen....we ate on the patio at a picnic table, it wasn't really so clean. They're really good with pets, friendly, bringing them water. Overall not a bad experience."

"Food was disappointing as well as the menu. I had a burger and fries, and the burger was very okay. The fries tasted like fries oil with some structure.The other complaint I have is this was not what we were expecting when we saw Mediterranean food (typically we expected hummus and pita when we think Mediterranean food). I would not call it Mediterranean but American food."

"So. good wein and service, absolutely! the food was respectable, but not calculated for prices. if it were carne mare or l’artusi in nyc, the dollars would drop. subtitle cocktails $20? bland, lifeless pasta primavera for $33.? diver scallops were good, but at quite a price. the calculated prices do not correspond to the quality of the dishes and I now understand everything that costs more. only my 2 cents."

"This place was highly recommend to us during our visit to Lake Placid. We had the most amazing wait staff a man named Mark he was so friend and helpful and he knew the menu! He throughly explained the dishes and made the evening enjoyable. Mark’s service is the epitome of what a good waiter should be! Thank you Mark! The food was very good! We had a blackberry moonshine drink that was delicious and generous! Great pulled pork, the Mac and cheese was the best we’ve ever had, and the maple vinaigrette dressing was superb on the side salad! We shared a meal and left totally full and happy! Don’t miss this place!"

"My wife and I went to the view of the Mother's Day Brunch Buffet. The food was excellent as well as the service and the ambience. MLI certainly lives up to her call of four diamonds! I highly recommend eating at The View and staying at MLI. They won't be disappointed."
