"We ate fondue and we were thrown the table fabulously. the quality of food and service is excellent. balanced quality/price ratio, considering competitors. the location is very welcoming and we want to emphasize the friendliness and sweetness of the lady who welcomed us and served us. we would be happy to return here a second time, we felt at home and pampered. we recommend it hotly"

"Very good food, poor and unwelcoming service. In spite of a reservation, we were relegated to a back room, while the rest of the indoor remained empty. Only after a fuss were we given a decent table. Ordering process was disorganised. We felt we were...there to serve them."

"Inside the hotel almhof there are two gastronomic restaurants: a contemporary served in the modern room, and an eclectic (Austrian-French-Italian) served in the "stube" room. We tried eclectic but the kitchen did not fully satisfy us, although it still remains of good level. Great service. very high prices."

"We had an excellent meal in this restaurant. we started at the hay bar with a glass champagne the chef dominic explains the type of cooking. aromen come from fresh crumbles all over the world no seasoned. we had two nice delicious muse bouches at the bar. a five-headed meal followed with fabulous combinations whether it is meat or seafood. we had the wee pairing that was perfect. the service has been set for the most pleasant evening. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits the Lech/Zürs area. we were in oberlech, it was a two-minute walk. but the ride with the cable car, the til 1 am. would have been a good opportunity to come in the restaurant. Restaurant decoration was simple and elegant. if they are in the opposite, they do not miss this."

"Buses run from Lech to two mountain lakes to the south-west. On the day after visiting Formarinsee and Freiburger Hütte I took a bus to the other lake, Spullersee, and walked to Ravensburger Hütte and, eventually, back to Lech.Like the other Alpine huts, Ravensburger Hütte provides both accommodation and food. I sat outside for lunch, for comparison having a similar meal to the one which I had at Freiburger Hütte. Thus, I drank 0.5L orange in fizzy water and ate sausage with a dab of mustard, shredded horse radish and bread, finishing off with a coffee. That cost me €13.70, slightly less than the meal at Freiburger Hütte. Both meals were very good, however. Ravensburger Hütte had the added attraction for me of a flock of Alpine choughs appearing overhead whilst I was there."

"We took the fee bus to Zug from Lech.In this cosy restaurant the typical Austrian menu had plenty of great choices including scrumptious apple strudel with vanilla for desertWe took the scenic walk back to Lech along the rivers edge in order to work off all the delicious calories"
