"The Grelha is one of my favoutite local restaurants. And by local , I mean exactly that. Only locals pass by it, it is hidden away near the local school. You will see the owner and staff greet most of the customers by name, as whole families arrive. Having said that, they do have an english menu, and the owner, João, speaks english. They have a large charcoal fire, and most of their dishes are cooked on it. This is one of the few places in the Lisbon area that I eat the roast chicken. The fish is always fresh, and the meat is of good quality. João is always ready to help his customers, do not hesitate to ask for his advice when choosing your meal, and your wine. The Grelha has a good selection of wines, and prices are reasonable. Expect about 20 to 25€ per head, including wine. Either arrive early, or book your table. Ask for the tarte de amêndoa (almond tart), if they have it."

"Este restaurante tem a capacidade de ter não só o pior sushi que ja comi em toda a minha vida, como a pior comida chinesa, os piores grelhados, tudo...nao ha qualidade em nada neste sitio. Já la fui duas vezes em almoços de grupo e cada vez é pior que a ultima. nao é barato, é buffet, e é terrivel. a comida é salgadissima, as peças de sushi vê-se que são descongeladas de tao frias que as vezes ainda estao, depois sal envoltas em molhos nojentos. o molho de soja é super salgado e tem um sabor de fugir. os grelhados vêm com sabores de outras comidas da grelha. a unica coisa que se safa sao os cogumelos mas mesmo assim metemos la um prato com uma boa dose e veio um terço... Nao recomendo nem ao meu pior inimigo!"

"Conheço este restaurante há muito tempo. Antes pertencia à um Sr. que era da zona de Viseu e por isso deu-lhe este nome curioso. Há mais de dez anos foi vendido aos actuais donos e só este ano tive a oportunidade de lá voltar. A cozinha está entregue à D. Luísa que, com a ajuda do marido que alterna o trabalho na cozinha com o atendimento, confecciona pratos típicos da cozinha portuguesa. Foram sempre muito atenciosos comigo mesmo quando peço algumas alterações aos pratos, como é o caso das iscas. Grelhadas, em vez de fritas e com um molho inventado por mim. Muito simpaticamente D. Luisa aceitou e todas as vezes que lá vou já sabe o que eu gosto. É um sitio muito frequentado à hora do almoço, menos ao jantar e sempre por clientes habituais. Os preços são muito bons. Vale a pena para um almoço rápido e em conta."
