"Note: Just FYI, one serving of sop/soto will come with 2 portion of rice. Apparently that's the standard. So in case you don't want it, you can just tell the waiters to only have 1 portion. Apparently one of the most popular restaurants in Medan and well I could see why. Their soto is so good and they're really generous with the amount of meat and you can pick the type of meat you want: chicken, beef, innards. I'd recommend to have the meat mixed. Their sop daging is super light and the meat is tender. The serving comes with some side dishes and some jelly-in-a-glass for a dessert, you don't have to pay them if you don't eat them. Parking is spacious. Place got very crowded sometimes and you might feel overwhelmed. Price is reasonable."

"The precooked food is ok and cheap. If you live here, a visit is not worth it. The two Veg sites in Jl Waringin are better options for buffet food on rice, but they either close or sell from food earlier. Update: If you order the mixed rice online, what you get is quite boring in my opinion."
