"Before i start two warning: Do not turn up saturday without a reservation! Make sure you are hungry!! This restaurant is in an old Mas or farmhouse the decoration is provençal and well done. The food: excellent!! the meat is cooked on a barbeque in...full view. and beware the rations are large you will not leave feeling hungry!!. The service is good, Plenty of choice on the menu. "We drove half an hour to this restaurant, which we found via michelin. there are limited decisions in the Aix-en-Provence area on Monday night, so this was an exciting foundation. the charming historic building was beautiful and the dining room was beautiful, but we were the only guests. the food was excellent, but he service was very mixed. the maitre’d was nice, but the waiter was best described as surly and unwilling. he made us very uncomfortable to stay too uncomfortable. the main thing were excellent steak with kartoffelmash and pfeffer sauce as well as the salmon cooked on a stone with seasonal vegetables. the escaped were good zucchini flowers and the mandelgazpacho both were quite beautiful. the cheese plate and lavender were also quite beautiful and very generously competitive four at the end of the meal were very beautiful.
