"Stopped by here recently on vacation. Everything about this place was amazing! Lunch was delicious, the ice cream was yummy (I recommend the root beer float), and everyone was super friendly! The next time we come through the area, we are definitely stopping again!"

"Great food and service! Hard to find good BBQ in New England, and these guys hit it. The pulled pork and chicken thighs were both excellent, and the sides great too. They gracefully handled a crowd of about 25 folks, with lots of outdoor seating. They are short-staffed (isn't everyone these days? so service was a little slow, but they were apologetic and did their best."

"Terrible Chinese food. I suggest driving into sussex if you really need Chinese or settle for pizza. I ordered spare ribs, wonton soup, veggie Lo main, pork fried rice, general chows, and chicken and broccoli. The spare ribs were dried out and tasteless. Wonton soup was soooo salty and had little to no filling with soggy outer noodle. The pork fried rice was extremely dried out almost as if the rice was day old. The chicken and broccoli had slimey chicken. I did however give them one star because they were friendly and I spent over 40$ and got a free soda. The veggie Lo Marin was good and the general chows had good sauce but the portion was small for Chinese."

"A gem in the Turners restaurant scene! The menu is spare, yet the options are all equal parts fresh, tasty and satisfying. On our most recent visit, my partner had the salmon sesame C, and I had the Amalthea's Dinner with tofu. We may have moaned a couple of times. The combination of flavors and textures was like an art form. Wine list will dazzle you. Dessert is a must--we had the dark chocolate pecan brownie with a dollop of something fabulous on top. Our server Amy and owner Bridget were really friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back!"

"Beautiful outdoor setting with delicious food to the compliment. service is fast and friendly, with large positions make the price it worth. but if nothing else comes for the night. almost everyone table has a beautiful view of the water, and it creates a wonderful environment to have a meal! also the dressing on the greens may be the best I have ever tasted!"
