"You may not walk past but do take the Verchaiz road and book a table here. Visited twice and on both occasions had fantastic meals. Staff efficient and friendly. Home produced gravadlax and pate. All meals tasty and well presented"

"Had lunch here a couple of times. Burger and pizzas are excellent. Staff so friendly and cheerful, great place. Also had dinner on a couple of occasions again food excellent and friendly cheerful staff. Great selection of wines too. Will be back next year."

"This restaurant was recommended for our chalet night off and we booked a table, but at 7pm we were almost the only ones in the restaurant. Later in the evening the restaurant filled up and it seemed to be very popular. We were in the outer tent part of the restaurant, which was heated by warm air fans but the temperature was not constant, so take layers to strip off when it gets warm and put back on later when the fan goes off. The owners speak English and the menu isn't large but has sufficient variety and the prices were very reasonable. I had the tartiflette and my husband had the Covagne special which were both beautifully presented but the special potato cakes were a little overcooked and dry. The food wasn't quite as good as we expected, so we were a little disappointed however this may have been down to our choice as many of the diners around us were enjoying themselves. They served a really lovely mug of coffee at the end of our meal.The lights reflect off the water at night but it is during the day that you see the lovely view across the lake with the snow covered mountains in the back ground. It is right in the centre of all the activities (horse riding, paddling, zip wires, walking, river side, fishing) and I think I would be prepared to go back and give it another try, especially during the daytime.There is a car park right behind the restaurant, which is very convenient."

"The meny contained the usual things. Fondue, meat, fish and salad and the savoire speciality. The restaurant was fully booked when we were there. There were two very loud english parties there with parents and children. The parents does not tell the children to behave so it was really noisy. You can't blame the restaurant for this but it did take the experience down. Hard floor and wooden chair and table didn't take the noise level down either. This place would have benefited from some textiles that would have lowered the noise level. Ok food. Ordinary prices."
