"As we drive around we always make a habit to call into local bakeries and try the good old pies and sausage roll. We brought these and thought ok but more like a oven heated supermarket pie then a actually bakery pastries we were expecting...to get with that extra home cooked and taste. Although a average feed would not go back as simply not a traditonal type of bakery food that you would expect from a local bakery."

"My partner and I ordered saag paneer and chicken curry to take away. It was very disappointing as there was a lot of oil and very little else, i.e a meagre amount of chicken and a watered down saag paneer with almost no cheese. I...won't be going there again. Too much grease!"

"We had a table of 14 and the service was great considering how busy the restaurant was. The oysters were good, albeit the kilpatrick sauce very thick and rich and expensive at $2.90 each so I only ordered 3. Even the Oyster Bar at the Pier at Glenelg is cheaper than this.All the main courses were HUGE, I ordered the garfish and received 3 large pieces plus chips and salad. I ate 2 pieces of fish and half my chips and I was full. I would rate this as fancy pub food. Everyone was very happy with their meal and the people who ordered the pork said it was fantastic. It would be nice to arrive before dark to see the view of the murray."
