"A lovely evening with okay food. The service was really good and the ambiance was vibrant. They were very accommodating for my dietary needs. I ordered the Vegetarian Rice Paper Rolls (they are vegan too), they were really fresh and light with the peanut sauce complimenting it well. A great way to start the evening. My friends both ordered Salt and Pepper Squid and Quail in Spicy Salt. According to them the salt and pepper squid was a bit bland but the quail was amazing.<br>
For main course I had Stir-Fried Vegetables with Garlic sauce (Vegan), i was disappointed as the vegetables were literally drenched in the oily sauce, the flavour was good but there was waaaay to much and it spoiled the beautiful vegetables. <br>
My friends for main had Roast Duck salad and Twice Cooked Duck with Shittake and Noodles. Apparently the Roast duck salad was nice but the salad lacked seasoning but the Twice cooked Duck was really delicious and super filling. <br>

"This place is so fantastic, I really recommend it to all people, vegan or not! The food is delicious, and not just the fried menu items. Their salads/soups are hearty, healthy and fresh. Love the fish salad with satay and eggplant! Service is above and beyond: they really cater for a broad range of dietary needs as the food is all plant based and cruelty free but they are also explicit about what does/does not have gluten, onion and garlic."

"If you are looking for authentic Italian food that is good and with a real Italian feeling, then it's it. For the beginning we ordered Polenta chips with aioli and four cheeses, truffle oil arancini. We had the Diavolo Pizza and the Specials Linguine with crab. My favorite was the pizza. Any pizza I saw looked incredibly! When we ordered the Crab Linquin, we thought that the crab meat is mixed in pasta and not served a whole crab on the side of pasta. I'm not sure if it is traditional for crabs to be served as a whole. It requires a bit of work. For dessert we shared a Tiramisu that was nice. Our waiter was great, although we are constantly asking different waiters to take away our plates. Even while there were still food on the plate, and I still eat, asked if they can take it away. We had a three-course food and was just an hour and a bit there and we felt that we had rushed. I understand if we were there for two hours. Overall, I found the food well and a great value, though you really have to relax if you have to always ask yourself to take away our plates and to noise people."

"Always fabulous food for a relative cheap night out. We've dined here numerous times and it never disappoints. My only (small) let down was asking for extra hot chilli in all our food, and the dishes came out mildly spicy. More heat people! <br/ <br/ Having said that, the flavours we're fab, the garlic naan a standout, and chilli meatballs a go-to dish. <br/ <br/ Thank you!"

"What a Surprise. Expecting a typical deconstructed kebab when I ordered a mixed plate and mixed grill with my friend, we were delightfully surprised by the amazing food that arrived (home delivery). Carefully packed and separated, the hommus and tabouli was refreshing and the meat, delicious.<br/ <br/ My favourite was in fact the Turkish bread and Baba Ghanoush we ordered as well on a whim, usually I'm not a big fan of turkish break which is usually spongey and dry this has to be the best I have tasted, apparently home made as well.<br/ <br/ Highly recommended, thumbs up! (too bad I don't have photos)"

"I've been a vegetarian for around years, and I've been coming to Green Gourmet for around most frequently for yum cha. The yum cha food is delicious and varied I can't think of a dish I haven't liked, and dishes are generally...hot and fresh. The difficulty is with the service, which can range from indifferent to infuriating. There are two main problems that I've observed with the yum cha service: Failure to offer food to all tables. Today we were seated close to the kitchen, and we did well. Other times we've been seated far from the kitchen, and had to watch as numerous trays and multiple dishes go to the same tables over and over, leaving us with nothing. Even more aggravating, though, is when the staff members decide arbitrarily that you've had enough (I presume and just stop coming to your table on one of those occasions the staff member was so determined to ignore my existence that she would not even make eye contact, and it was only when a customer at another table drew attention to us that we got more food. On other occasions we've given up and left hungry. Short period of offering. We always aim to get to Green Gourmet at the time they open, because even when you do, at some point they will just stop bringing out yum cha dishes. Today we got there minutes after opening, and most of the other tables were ordering from menus already. I recognise that it's a small restaurant and it may not be cost effective to keep bringing out dishes, but certainly it's even less feasible to offer yum cha to only half that small restaurant, and I think that's part of the reason there's hardly any food coming out. These problems are not rocket science and a bit more oversight and communication would probably make their business a lot more money. I'm baffled that these problems have persisted over such a long time. Probably I'm part of the problem because I keep on going back (the food is AMAZING when you can get some but I've taken Green Gourmet off the list of places I would recommend to others, and I've given up on bringing friends there because some of our experiences have been so aggravating. I even wrote them a letter about a decade ago, but received no response."
