"We were booked at El Mapi but sent to Hatuchay due to construction/overbooking of our rooms-it was a major disappointment in every aspect. Our upgraded room had 3 beds crammed in, was dark and smelled moldy. Bathroom had very damp, moldy smell and a large hole in the wall under the sink, which had no light over it. Dinner (included) was inedible, 3 of the 4 mains were cold the tenderloin cold and bloody. It was the worst hotel we stayed at in Peru. The Manager at El Mapi did try to upgrade us to a junior suite at Hatuchay but a large sign warned of Danger-Do Not Go on Terrace (think it was about to collapse), the tv did not work and a very large spider running over the wall sent us back to the moldy room! Would not recommend to anyone."

"Localizado no delicioso Hotel Boutique Casa del Sol em Pueblo Machu Picchu aonde fiquei hospedada com amigos. Optamos pela degustação de pratos incluindo a sobremesa. Estavam deliciosos e muito bem apresentados. Delicioso pisco sauer e cerveja cusquenha acompanharam nossa escolha. Ótimo atendimento e preço justo. Bela vista panorâmica para o rio com suas belíssimas pedras brancas. Recomendo inclusive para quem não estiver hospedado. Necessita reserva."

"Many selection from the menu and cheap for the location. I had the Alpaca meat that was interesting with the cheese factory and the presentation is awesone. don't try the pissco mad! lemonaide was delicious!"

"Un lugar que tiene una amplia variedad de platos y sandwiches, bastante bien preparados. Vean si está el menú colación o plato turista, que consiste en un plato, bebida o jugo y postre, que al parecer termina siendo la mejor opción en cuanto a lo económica, ya que vale lo mismo que un sólo plato de la carta y con eso basta y sobra para reponer las energías gastadas en Machu-pichu."

"We were in a group and we had to eat there. First they placed us at a table. Suddenly they thought we should change. While getting our first course we had to change again. After the main course which was lomo saltado with just 4 mouthful of meat but at least one big onion, we had to pay and we were not allowed to wait at the table for our friends that went to toilet before leaving!Afterwards we went eating properly."

"I came to eat dessert here with my family, and although the food was not bad, it wasn 't particularly great either. We ordered a couple hot chocolates and an americano and those were very good, but the icecream we ordered was lacking in flavor and a bit too sweet. They had a brownie especial pastry that looked amazing in their display case, but in reality was dry and desperately in need of more chocolate flavor. I would come here for a hot drink. but not for their food."
