"L'etable is actually a charcuterie and cheese shop, with a few tables outside. We came upon it while walking around St. Germain, and a very good find it was. They offer plates of various kinds of ham, sausage, pate etc., with salad if you like that sort of thing. (Rabbits do. I don't. , The cheeses looked and smelled first rate.Everything was beautifully made, fresh and full of flavour and texture. There is a short, excellent wine list. The Rue des Louviers is quiet and pleasing. The prices are good value for money at this quality. The service, by a cheerful, motherly lady, was prompt, considerate and helpful. One can, of course, buy charcuterie or cheese to eat elsewhere, but a light, sit down lunch on a very hot day was delightful. We departed much refreshed. Highly recommended for both food and service."

"Tonight, it was rather Cazau" in there because of the rain threats, damage because the terrace must be ideal by a beautiful summer evening. The staff was disappearing very quickly from 11:00, fortunately that the young blonde waitress is there to bring the addition:)-in the whole, it is the minimum service, and I will join on this point, the daniel d'avis. Maybe all this is to put on the account of the month of August.A try again off vacation? However, nothing to say about quality. We took the forest menu at 59€: lobster bisque, lotte and duck confit, the latter quite delicious, cheese, in our opinion superfluous, and baba delicious as well. The rating is an average: 4/5 for the quality of the dishes and 1/2 for the service"
