"And you don't want cheap, if your ingredients are exceptional. I'm all for paying a premium for superb food that is fresh, well prepared -- and with a good presentation. Unfortunately, this was just average, with an above average price tag.The Buddha Bowl (Peaceful Protein) was presented with some undistinguished spinach and salads which were nothing spectacular. The bean sprouts were crisp and the hummus was very tasty, but everything else was just "so so", with the beets rather bland and the quinoa salad a bit dry.My friend had a BLT (WLT) which she described as "heavy bread with bean paste" -- not exactly a ringing endorsement. I had a sample of it and found her description very apt, as it sat like a lead balloon -- although I freely admit you should expect some heaviness if you're going to order a lentil-walnut sandwich! Still, it tasted rather conventional, and the veggies inside were a bit limp and colourless. The ambience is completely lacking -- but since they are moving soon, it now becomes a moot point. I hope that in their new digs they will freshen up the décor and make their new venue more appealing than this one. The front yard, among which a few tables and chairs were scattered, was grim. My friend remarked, "People walking by must think this is a retirement home for unhappy seniors" as it gave not much indication of it being a welcoming place to eat a fresh lunch.Additionally, I'm not a great fan of ordering at the till, while hungry diners mill behind you looking to do the same. It doesn't lend itself to a pleasant start to a lunch if you have to read a (rather crowded) board, while other guests stand behind you impatiently.The service was quick, but not exceptional. Our dishes were brought out to us and served on an un-adorned and slightly sandy table, and just "sort of plopped before us". If one is in the hospitality business, one shouldn't make customers feel ancillary to the whole experience. The real surprise came at the cash register, though, as I was shocked to find a $14.95 price tag attached to my passable Buddha Bowl! Fifteen dollars for a handful of grains doesn't sit well. I would gladly pay more than this if it had been memorable, but as it was, we both felt a bit robbed by the whole experience.Would I try it again? Perhaps. It may just have been an off-day, at end of season. (Still, when you're in the hospitality business, off-days shouldn't come into the mix, one would think). I'll look to see how their new venue shapes up, and decide from there.Final rating: an average meal which left us both a little disappointed over the experience."

"My wife and I love Pizza, in fact was our most often visited restaurant when dating. Pizza Delight make a very good Pizza. Now we used to eat the thicker crusts, but after travelling to other countries we became more attracted to the thin crust variety. Try them out, you will enjoy their pizza."
