"Been buy pizza at CBS location for a few years, but recently it was terrible. Had to throw more than half of it out when my wife and I were disgusting how bad it was. The dough was half cooked and it seemed like he was sitting in her warmer for an hour. Not the preferences of Dominos, but looks like this is our choice from now on to Pizza hat comes back or Papa Johns comes here.... Waste your hard earned money!!!!"

"My wife and I dined at Pasta Plus to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. It had been a while since we last ate there and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the great dining experience had not changed. My wife had the spaghetti and meat balls and I had the New Orleans pasta. The food was hot and the portions were big. The Caesar Salad was one of the best I had tasted in a while and the crepe desserts were also excellent. The service was friendly and good and the price was very reasonable. It was a wonderful night."

"Like a lot of other people note, some of the food (chicken balls, eggroll, wontons) was overdone and borderline burnt. The rice tasted a bit burnt and the noodles, most oddly, tasted vaguely like propane. The lady working there was quite nice, but I'd rather have bad service and edible food than vice versa."

"Don't let the cod 'tongue' discourage you from going here, as there are many things to choose from. Having never had that, my husband & I had to try it. Kind of like deep-fried calamari but I didn't like it as well - it was good, but we loved the lobster salad and fresh oysters. Everything was so fresh, the service was good, and they were willing to turn down the music when asked (thanks). Their willingness to tastefully accommodate my food allergies was terrific (thanks so much). We had dinner here 2 nights during our stay in St. John's and will definitely come here again on our next visit. We've been fans of the "Great Big Sea" for years, and this restaurant is owned by one of the group members. He's definitely figured out the restaurant AND music scenes."

"I've eaten at quite a few restaurants while living in the St. John's area. This was my first time dining at Mallard Cottage. I have to say that it was by far the best meal I have eaten out yet! The whole experience was amazing. Our server Des was extremely helpful and very cool and funny and took care of us so well. The appetizers of smoked mackerel and the corn battered cod cheeks were amazing. The halibut dishes were the best halibut i have ever tasted. And the desserts...oh my god..yet again amazing. Top marks to the chefs and staff for a truly amazing dining experience."
