"The old post in Tramin is just sensational good. Great food with fantastic wines and perfect service. Yes, a main dish (meat) costs 32€, but you also receive seed quality. I would even dare to say the best restaurants in Tramin throughout South Tyrol. And yes, the bottle goes more than fine"

"The service and food was so good we had to go there twice during our one week visit and I 've never gone to the same restaurant twice in a vacation before . When we were stranded during extreme rainfall and had to get back to our hotel, the owner herself drove us since there was a long queue for the local taxi guy. She even refused to take a €10 payment and got annoyed when we insisted no, it 's for beer! not for me! . They have a wood fired stone pizza oven which rotates fascinating to watch. The menu does have grill items and local specialities, but the pizza menu is just so complete that you 'll find at least three or four pizzas you have to choose amongst, and never read on to the other dishes. For dessert, the apfel strudel with vanilla ice cream is very good the dark and white chocolate mousse not so much at least not the white chocolate . If you 're a group of four or more, go out on a limb and order a nutella pizza as an extra dessert, for sharing. It 's strange but... actually good. Note: Sportsbier is a local thing, beer watered out with sparkling water."
