"We were recommended to eat at this small traditional restaurant by our host.The proprietor chef and staff made us very welcome and were helpful and attentive throughout. The whole experience was a delight from start to finish. Having opted for the 28E menu we started with a chefs surprise of four taster dishes on a plate. The flavours were superb leaving us salivating and expecting great things. We were not disappointed. Our mackerel on crevettes mouse was stunning and followed by roast lamb chops with vegetables ... The meat was melt in the mouth with a lovely rich flavour. The chocolate supreme with an orange and caramel sauce was a fitting end to a fine meal. We could not believe the standard of the cooking which was superb. Well done Le Cheval Blanc"
