"A really great place with a laid back vibe and fantastic food. We all had pulled pork, as either a burger or BBQ style and it was definitely the best meal of our stay on Vancouver Island. They do get really busy but the wait is definitely worth it , and the staff look after you in a relaxed manner that made us feel like we could take our time. They also have a great selection of beers and wines.Don't miss this one if you have a night out in ucluelet!"

"I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life and this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! If you like wood burning pizza, you’ll love this pizza! We got the Diavola the Pepperoni pizza and both were excellent!"

"The atmosphere is wonderful. We stepped into this busy little restaurant on a whim, unsure of what to eat. I suggested sharing a pizza, but my aunt, having caught a glimpse of the burger suggested we try that.Well, let me tell you, I have never had such a good burger in a restaurant. The patty, was hand made. They accommodated my topping requests. It was amazingly flavourful.Highly recommend"

"We had a nice evening at the FloatHouse. I had the Ukee cheese steak with Caesar salad and my partner had a bowl of chowder. It was all pretty yummy and reasonably priced. The view of the marina was nice and peaceful! Service was quick...and friendly."

"Love the name!The owner was friendly....pumps out some great food out of a small space.We did take out....sat inside at the counter while waiting. Great tunes on the stereo.We ordered the Moo Bones and the Southern Fried Chicken.Had the corn bread, rings and power slaw.The chicken is the best I have ever had. The corn bread was really nice and the power slaw was delicious too.Highly recommend and look forward to eating here again next time visiting.Continued success!!"

"I have taken a two-month stay from my work to travel the western united states and canada with my good friends. Of course, I have seen a large number of surf shops and camping sites. here. there is one of the...dope, unlautered, cool and friendly surf shop on the same piece land where the camping site is. the campsite is hidden in this great, old-fashioned northwest rainforest landscape with picturesque moss and huge trees everywhere. near the parking lot is a huge community fire pit for campers. there are also bathroom and, I believe shower when I remember correctly, before location now in the surfshop. this is not a flicking commercial, mall type billabong or chain boardwalk surfshop. that is a lets-get-you-on-the-waves type of surf shop. it has what they need and nothing else. If they're a surfer with their own board, then they'll have them with them that they need, like wakes, blows, and a wet suit if they don't have their own. if they are a surfer w/o a board because for example they are like me and do not allow their type of transport, then they also covered them. because these young have some of the most competitive surfboard rentals in the tofino area. combine this with the discount they get when they camp here and this place is the best. we were in a mistresort (mckenzie beach resort) near to tofino, where the people were packed like sardines with campsites on the rafting road. we moved here, good movement. this place is super covered and has fantastic staff that manages the surfshop (a family and friends operation from what I can say.) I am originally from the middle west and learned to surf on one of the great lakes (lake superior.) why is that relevant? well, they had surf 's up on every morning in the surf shop and they could go, a tasse joe, jo catch the surf break for me. one of the coolest places I was traveling throughout my two months."

"We were there twice for breakfast and it was always full but still it was quick. it has been a joy to see the young people working behind the scenes. everything is prepared with much love. the selection of self-produced feeds is very large. there are not very many seats but we also have standing in or on a wooden bench in front of the local very well fallen. who doesn't mind it is very well served here. we would go back at any time, a fantastic alternative to infallible breakfast buffets in the hotels."
