"General: With a friendly couple we arrived at the Gellbersch House for dinner, you should book, because the restaurant is always well visited. Eat: The German Mediterranean curled menu offers curly scallops on pasta nest in Chilli Lauch Pesto, various salads, Argentinian rag steak and huge cloves on Tagliolini with cocktail tomatoes and a small selection of vegetarian dishes up to a 1⁄2 chicken for every taste. Actually, I was looking for chickens as I learned on request, but it is prepared in the frit. I like the German favorite house either prepared in the oven, grill or convectomat or not at all. Our choice fell on appetizers beef soup at home. Cheese sauce with sauces of 4.20 € (my selection) Rating: quality and freshness of the ingredients were perfect; the dishes are prepared and visually appealing. In beef soup there was nothing to bring out a beef broth, which was pleasantly taste-intensive due to long chefs and fresh soup herbs, with homemade, loosely boiled awnings with fine muscat notes such as “mothers”. 5* A good choice was the chicken breast fillet, a lush breast fillet, wrapped in lean parmas ham, sharply roasted over wonderful spicy spicy herbs Sherry Sauce, a successful culinary treat for diving the perfectly roasted white butter tender juicy fillet and al dente Tagliolini. A pleasantly hearty dominance of rosemary and sage. 5* The side salads consisted of day-fresh crispy leaf salads with a bravely very piquant, for my wife something to “salt-last”, for my taste buds, but perfectly decorated slightly ally balsamico potato housewear to knee down. 5* I was allowed to taste the Argentinean Rumpsteak, because my wife was unable to create God with 300gr. A great piece of meat, a lump of approx. 6cm thick, long-hanging, with spices that are not saved here, equipped with the “required” roasted flavors and served a point medium, beautiful pink, tender and juicy on the preheated plate. 5* Also our companions were absolutely satisfied with your choice. Too bad was the dessert not a worthy conclusion for the previous palate; the vanilla ice cream tasted like “supermarket big package on offer”, already at the first spoon ice crystals creeping between the teeth, as if the cooling chain had been interrupted during transport, as well as the whipped cream, which looked a little out and presented with a light film on the surface not very convincingly as freshly beaten. 2,5* So it is from the overall impression only for very good 4 stars. You can ask the kitchen unrestricted and it will certainly not have been our last visit to the Gellbersch house. Wine map: A small, well-stocked selection of open and bottled wines from cheap to medium price from Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Here, too, everyone should find the right drop to eat. We had among other things Weissburgunder Q.b.A. dry from the winery Pfirmann, Wollmesheim/Pfalz, Rosé Blauer Spätburgunder Rosé Fineherb, Aigle, Daimery, France, a strong red with shares of Merlot and Cannaiolo and Riesling Riesling Kabinett fineherb vom Hank, a fine fruity wine with subtle residual sweetness The open wines are calculated with an average of 6,00 € for 0,25l. Other drinks: Crement Aperol 4,50 €, Espresso 2,20 €, 0,75l Mineral water 4,80 € Service: we felt the service unanimously as not only breathtaking, the welcome was friendly, the order intake only after about 10 minutes waiting time, but rather hard and also the further service in the evening not very professionally attentive. Especially the youngest in the service team who served us mainly seemed somewhat uncertain. Both the order pick-up and the following service at the table screwed them with a reserved “bear just around the evening” – Mimik, also a well-meaned joke to relax her a smile, went into the void. The experience in the wine is also wrong, as the blonde colleague knew better and also, whether everything is right, was asked by another operator while passing. The air is still in the service area. There are still small masters from heaven, but here a little attention should be paid to the proper handling of the guests. Friendly, attentive, easy, flee and always with a smile you can learn. Not only good food, but above all good service are characterized by a gastronomy. Ambiance The restaurant is conveniently located just minutes from the motorway intersections Nonnweiler and Braunshausen in the small village Buweiler in the Schwarzwald Hochwald. The former farm, after successful restoration with expertise and attention to detail, has been home to the “Gellbersch Hof” restaurant since 2010. The positive impression that the inn is awakening from the outside is continued inside. Low ceilings with exposed, centuries-old oak beams – a slate table with the inscription “Preview Level Head” warns during the passage to the counter area, coarsely plastered walls, white and red tinted, a beautiful tile fireplace, appealing furnishings, a colourful mixture of Art Nouveau and incubator, as well as one or other as eye-catching in scenes."
