"For a place with 'meatball ' in the name, the meatballs weren 't that great. They tasted a bit overcooked and the sauce wasn 't anything special. The chicken gouda bacon wrap had a little too much spinach and the wrap stuck to my teeth, but the chicken was good. The bloody Mary was tasty the bartender put a splash of stout beer in it, which made it more interesting and cut the spice of the Sriracha. It was a little heavy on the lemon lime juices. The macaroni and cheese was delicious and had plenty of sauce (some places don 't give enough). They have a candied bacon grilled cheese I wish I 'd tried. The atmosphere is cool and the place itself is small. Parking isn 't all that easy to find at lunch on a Saturday."

"I visited my sister-in-law in kc and we saw Pigwas on three times d and decided to review it. My fiance and I split the meatball and the cheese steak. Both were pretty good, but the bread on the sandwiches was pretty hard. I would be curious to see if it is better at a busy time and if they also give more fillings. We were excited to try the Fritten after reading reviews and they were not disappointed. To add some variety, we also have sweet potato fries, but if I could, I would just get more regular fries. My father in law got the Nashville roasted chicken and said it had a beautiful, surprising level of spices. The service was fast and the people were friendly."

"The food pictures looked fancy and delicious, but they also had an extensive kids menu so we decided it was worth a try with our wild 2 and 4 year old. I got the blackened catfish with was delicious. I wanted to lick my plate. My husband got the chicken piccatta. The chicken was moist and crispy. He ate every bite. My 4 yo got the sausage pizza. It was the fanciest sausage pizza he has ever eaten. The sauce was so yummy. He ate half and then ate the sausage off the rest. My youngest got the meatball sub. I was a bit nervous. It was big. We cut it up and he gobbled it up. It had the same yummy sauce. Our friends had the meatball sub and meatloaf and thought they were superb. Our server was on it. She was so kind to us even with our crazy boys, she refilled cups better than any place I've eaten in a long time. She seriously was the best waitress I've come across and she was the only one. She had several tables to take care of and was running her tail off. The price of food and the care we received was worth far more than we paid. This is a locally owned restaurant and I hope they do well!!!"

"Did not realize that this place did not have a sit down area during our visit, however staff were extremely friendly and let us know about some outdoor seating. We waited about 10 extra minutes for fresh bread which was totally worth it. I would be a frequent flyer if I lived in Kansas City. I love what I had but wanted to try at least 4 other sandwiches."

"Related to the family that operated in Misson, the food is spot on for casual yet high end and tasty Italian. Everything is well prepared, staff is friendly and helpful and service quick.i can bring the family here for roughly half of any chain resturamt and the food is twice as good. Convenient off of I-435 on State Ave. It's off the beaten path but not hard to get to. Can get busy at lunch, but they keep things moving and there is very little wait! Good Stuff! Their quality remains consistent time after time. Always a joy and tasty too! refreshing in todays world to find old time quality at a cheap price!"

"Nice local chain of sandwich shops. Definitely prefer them to the national chains. Only complaint I have is that they seem to have cut back a bit on the meat and cheese on the sandwiches, probably due to cost. But still really like them a whole lot better than the other places."
