"I've recently visited the new Firehouse Subs in Medford and am super impressed! We've ordered for the staff at my work and everyone agrees, the food is very good. We will be ordering often for Dr. Jensen's office. We recently arranged for catering over the holidays 5 stars! Excellent service, the owners always seem to be onsite and were very accommodating to us when we ordered catering. The location is awesome and I am glad to see that someone is FINALLY making good use of the space next to Tinseltown! Go eat at Firehouse Subs, you won't be disappointed, Medford! :o)"

"I don 't leave Yelp reviews but definitely needed to after this odd experience. Was excited to return, but upon arrival, the front hostess was really, really passive aggressive and rude to my friends and I. Her behavior and body language was micro-aggressive towards us and dismissive. She spoke in a tone that felt like we were being talked to like a child. We felt like an inconvenience simply for being there. It was especially odd because we were asking basic questions, we weren 't in any rush, and we were polite and quiet. She would respond loudly and in a demeaning tone, acting like we were pressing her. When we asked if we could sit at the bar if one party moved over a stool so there was room for 3, she responded loudly and in a rude tone they 're a little OLD so I feel bad asking which was just such an unnecessary ageist thing to announce out loud about this couple. (They moved over like it was no issue btw) After that bizarre interaction she came back and said to us ok come on I asked them to move let 's go! Then she had us sit, turned to my friend and asks if we 've ever been here before in a fake nice tone as if she was trying to recover after her rude way of speaking to us. We ordered only one round at the bar and left after 10-15 minutes because we felt awkward being there. The bartender was also short with us. We didn 't want to continue giving Semolina our money so we wrapped it up instead of eating dinner there like we planned. Overall it was a giant bummer. I was looking forward to the chance to return and dine inside at this neighborhood spot. But the way my friends and I were treated makes me uncomfortable to ever consider returning in the future. Just disappointing and a very unwelcoming experience."

"Second time coming here. First time years ago my order was missing items. Today I thought I’d give it another chance. This time I order DoorDash and pick it up myself. First of all the DoorDash photo shows fries with the sandwich. I see that’s an add on but then why add ketchup to the order for free and tell me you put it in the bag? Secondly this bread is not the herd Ciabatta spoken about in the menu. The avocado was shown as thick slices but what I got was just a little guacamole. After coming back and giving it another chance I can’t say I’m impressed."
