"Treated myself to a work dinner here. I really wanted some good pasta and tirimusu. The host/manager appeared to get a bit frustrated because I didn 't want to sit in the bar. I just needed room on a table to spread out. I came here because I was in the area and I figured, Italian restaurants in strip malls are all about the same. However, this is not true. I found it difficult to find anything on the menu that sounded palatable to me. I ended up ordering the white wine garlic shrimp linguini. I could smell it before the server placed it on the table. It wasn 't an appealing smell. It also wasn 't easy to eat. The 'sauce ' was like water, so it didn 't coat the noodles at all. Think, Ramen noodles...how it 's just water and noodles. I had one fork full and picked at my salad until the server came back. I ordered tirimisu for dessert. It 's my absolute favorite dessert. I make it at home, also. This, was not a normal tirimusu. It was served in a sundae glass. It didn 't appear, visually, to have any espresso at all. It was mostly what looked to be cake, instead of ladyfingers. It was difficult to eat, as it was mostly full of a really thick, overly whipped, filling. I have never experienced a restaurant situation like this. I I gave it three stars because what they served, was what I ordered, as opposed to messing up an order. I spent over $30 for a meal and a dessert that I did not eat. $30 is a lot of money for one person 's meal. I wasn 't even asked if there was something wrong with my meal. So, fair warning, if you 're looking for an Italian restaurant with spaghetti and fettuccine alfredo and other regulars, then this is probably not for you. "Was happy enough to be one of the first girls in the Avellinos Italian restaurant for their gentle opening today. I had a beautiful Greek salad with fresh bread. Next a shrimp dish with cuffs, fresh tomatoes, garlic and more. So, you brought a lot of food home tomorrow. Husband had homemade Italian soup followed by a wonderful calf dish. I tasted the calfs and it was delicious and delicate. Can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu."

"Very friendly staff, a great place to dine in. Surprisingly I am really into their burger options. Pizza is just phenomenal! Great atmosphere, last time I was there though they were a little understaffed, however that is to be expected since it is a collage town and it was during the holiday’s"

"The owner is a good man, he cooks excellent food. I asked if I could touch his beard, he kindly allowed. It was firm yet forgiving. A genuine crop from the old country, where the winds still blow true. He has a nice pond. We fished as the sun set. Caught over 50 bluegill."

"We stopped in while in the area shopping, and it seemed like a decent local eatery close to the college to try. It was very relaxed, we wandered in and seated ourselves. It took a bit for service, but the waitress was pleasant and the food was okay. The ravioli was well presented but not home-made, or atleast it tasted frozen? Either way, they have a lot to chose from, and a good beer selection and the prices were reasonable. Its within walking distance of some other shops so it's convenient."

"Had to wait 5 minutes before anyone bothered to check for customers. Then we were treated like we were bothering them for being there at 1:00 in the afternoon. Ordered cheddar cheese on sandwich, and was treated with shredded cheese, not slices. It was bad enough trying to eat a sandwich made with shredded cheese, but the cheese was also stale. A microwave sandwich from Love's next door would have been better."
