"We were at Porter Square in Cambridge last Sunday, May 20 when we happened to go by Temple Bar and decided to give it a whirl. It was busy and lively inside for a Sunday evening, and that was a good sign. I ordered the Green Circle chicken served with wild mushooms, potatoes and pan jus. It was phenomenal, reminded me of this chicken I had in Grenoble, France. This dish was simple, yet delicious and filling. There were so many interesting flavors to please even the most discriminating taste buds. The wild mushrooms were just scrumptious, a perfect accompaniment to this dish. My boyfriend ordered the Bronzini, I believe it was a Sea Bass served with couscous. This dish was light and delicious. I loved the fluffy, yet moist and tasty couscous. The Bass was grilled to perfection, and bursting with flavor. For dessert we had the Apple Financier served with candied almonds and vanilla ice cream. This dessert is served with three small moist and delicious mini cakes. It's a light dessert that can be shared, but we didn't. It was too good to share."

"A dive bar with a great location, sports on the TVs, pitchers of well priced beer, food, karaoke and Mark the Shark! What's not like about the place? Now I looked at other reviews... Its a dive bar... Up the street they have drinks 3 times the amount and will kiss your ass. Go there instead... Please! Seriously, if someone's rude to you, it's probably because your either acting like an ass, come off as one or just are a self important whiney assh*le that mama told was special too many times... Childish reviews... Wish I could comment on theirs"

"EVOO locally sources all its ingredients to the extent realistic and even grows some on their own rooftop. The food is consistent, flavorful, beautifully presented and, most importantly, delicious. The service is exceptional and has very low turn over because they treat every one well in their running of the restaurant. A modern and pleasant setting with light music and ability to hear everyone at your table. Nice seats by open kitchen too if desired and excellent wines curated by a dedicated beverage director."
