"Highly recommended!. Excellent veal sandwich the sauce is homemade and absolutely delicious! I 'm not usually too crazy about 'hot table ' style veal sandwiches (where the sandwich is assembled once the order is placed, but from ingredients including the breaded veal that come from a 'warmer tray ' , but this place is the exception to my rule because everything is so fresh. The store is family owned operated, and it 's obvious that the staff really care about the quality of the food. I don 't live anywhere near this place, but I make it a point to get in as often as I can. It 's worth the drive!"

"5 stars on service. The server was great and had very good service experience and knowledge. We were 6 people and it’s pretty great that we only had to wait 15 mins for the table. The food here is well tasting(3.75/5). The price is reasonable and the cheesecakes are good. As I’m not a big fan of cheesecakes, I ordered the chocolate fudge cake. It was very nice. Overall 4/5. Price range $80 for 2 people."

"Mama Martino's is a great little place with good old fashion Italian home style food. As you walk up to the front you'll notice an abundance of flowers and fountains which actually enclose a small patio making it a nice hidden spot for a romantic diner, which is great because there is not mch of a romantic view on the Queensway. Inside appears to be an old style Italian restaraunt with brick and stucco walls and all sorts of trinkets and pictures everywhere. It has a very relaxed atmosphere, so relaxed the staff appear to wear whatever is comfortable for them...no black tie uniforms here. But this actually works for this place as it is casual and nonpretentious. It is a family restaraunt where everyone will feel relaxed. This was our second time here, and we will definitely be returning. The food is great, not over the top trendy cutting edge made with liquid nitrogen or reindeer moss...it's old style Italian Nonna kitchen cooking. The pasta noodles are made in house, the pizza comes thin crust, the tomato sauce is real...what more could you want or expect... It's just simple and good. And this is what Momma Martino's does best, why complicate an uncomplicated dish. They keep it simple with good ingredients and it's a combination that works. Great place to take the family or have a glass of wine on the patio with a loved one."

"Absolutely wonderful. I went for lunch with a couple of people and we ordered the xiao long bao, red bean pancake, and spicy minced pork noodle.<br/ <br/ The xiao long bao was absolutely delicious. It's not easy to make good xiao long bao, but Dumpling King made it really well. The skin was not too thick and didn't have that doughy flavour. There was a tasty soup inside encompassing the meat of the dumpling which was unparalleled.<br/ The other two dishes were well made and promptly delivered to our table as well.<br/ <br/ The service was good, granted that my table was the only one there for the majority of our experience. The atmosphere fits more of the Chinese-style street food like setting. The place is kept clean and there was a TV to entertain. The price was affordable and worth every penny.<br/ <br/ Overall, this place is a definite must-try for those who enjoy dumplings and dim sum."

"Pastries are good and fresh, but knocking 2 stars off for the customer service and size of the location. The unit is way too small to handle all the business that comes through the door. Customers are literally standing shoulder to shoulder which causes confusion amongst the staff on who needs to be served vs. who has already been served and waiting to pay.Went yesterday (March 30) and the cashier seemed to be rushing customers and employees out the door. At one point, she was standing there while we were waiting to order and instead of her serving us, she started barking orders to another employee who was already running around helping another customer to assist us."
