"This was my fourth visit here, so I felt it was time to give this place the review it deserves. This Italian restaurant is a reason why I drive 80 miles from home. I love their food primarily the Risotto balls and the Kale and Mushroom Ravioli. I also tried some of their specials and they never disappointed. Add to the friendly service and fair Pricing and you have an ultimate winner of a restaurant. Pro Tip: Eat dinner early so you have time to go back to W. Cliff Dr. and get a view of the sunset. Not to mention Mariannes ice is on the street!"

"Tasty place to get tacos and beer! Lupulo has the best tacos in the city, they are super tasteful and served with fresh plastered veggies and a lime weaver. The Tacos couple perfectly with one of their many rotating beer and apple wine selection. They offer interior and exterior seats that are shaded."

"Dear friends invited us out to Vim tonight. It has been highly recommended so we went with high expectations (usually a bad idea! . I have seldom been moved to write such a positive review. If you read no further, suffice to say that four words describe the Vim experience: extraordinary; exceptional; excellent; exquisite. It would be an understatement to say that Chef Jesikah’s dishes are works of creative genius; more accurately, they are divinely inspired. Appetizers (and we tried three! were inventive combinations of delicate and complementary flavors. Your entree plate will be completely clean, guaranteed. Our table echoed with “Wows!”Desserts, the Chef’s specialty, are worth breaking any promises you have made to yourself about counting calories (even if you have to restart your 75 Hard . They are rich but light, and completely unique. Definitely do not deny yourself. The food is the linchpin of an all-around amazing experience. The gorgeous interior includes stunning original artwork by Shauna Stolaroff. Attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the silverware to the flower arrangements. Last but not least, the service is stellar, enthusiastic and professional.Come to Vim for a special occasion or just to treat yourself. The menu is always changing to keep up with new inspiration and seasonal offerings. Your biggest disappointment may be that the item you loved last time you came has given up its place on the menu to something even better.Vegetarian options: Plenty of tasty vegetarian options!"

"Excellent service, delicious food. We had a big group. The food came in order of stopper salad, roasted Brussels sprouts, wonderful spaghetti with meatballs and the best pizza. Great evening."

"I am sorry to have to post this, but I feel like I would have wanted an honest review to follow. Maybe it was the time of day we went at 3pm on a Tuesday during Happy Hour (glasses of “vino” not included), but the food and service was lackluster to say the least. The man behind the bar admitted not knowing what he was doing. The food was bland af. He asked how it was and I told him it was so so and used the universal hand gesture to confirm what I was saying and he just walked away. Never asked what was wrong (no salt, everything was dry and mushy). The owner was sitting at the end just staring at my husband after she caught on that we were not digging it. We felt very unwelcome like we just walked into someone’s personal home office. They charged us full price. We did not tip. I’m so disappointed to write this and I hope this helps the restaurant improve. The outside and decor inside was lovely. Part 2 (post restaurant response): Thank you for your response. It seems there were a few miscommunications about wine being on happy hour. The man behind the bar told me it’s just on beer on tap and fish tacos and then he gave me a menu to back it up. I asked for wine on happy hour, but no dice. If ur not the owner, there’s someone at the end of the bar with a computer who the man behind the bar claims to be dating so unsure what’s going on there, but apologies for the assumption. My comments about the chef describe a feeling of incompetence. I could be wrong, but I also tasted the food. Discrimination is not something I need to avoid as a paying customer. That sounds like more your problem employing him. It was more than a social queue that let your man behind the bar know. Two people saying it wasn’t good should be enough to prompt an inquiry, but he avoided the situation. It sounds like your response is combative and not well received so I’ll let it go. We went to the grocery store after and just gave up. Going to enjoy some of those infamous artichokes from the local farmers instead. One last question, the catch of the day was red snapper. Who caught that? Send me your email and I’d be happy to discuss further."
