"I visited my mother in Maine this summer and was so excited when we found out Andes Variety had vegan pizza on her menu! Pizza was exactly what we needed and they had several vegan meats to choose from for blows! Nate, who made pizza this day, said he was vegan and he works to add more vegan stuff to the menu soon. I am very excited to visit the next summer and will report on our results. Hopefully someone will help you find food when visiting Coastal Maine. Thanks for a delicious vegan pizza"

"What is not to love in this place? Once you get out of the car, your mouth waters because you can smell the sauce in the kitchen. The first time off, and had a variety of delicious fresh food - ugly fantastic pizza, first-class rib cooked to perfection, shells in garlic, this magnificent sunrise onion, and the salads are so huge and fresh and fantastic! With the chocolate cake? Drool! Very secret, dear decor, some real antiques in there, and I will still remember the name of our waitress, she was as friendly and patient and friendly as possible. Easy ride from Cleveland. Anyway, it'll be back. Thanks Warren and Sunrise Inn! A"

"We were regulars but we’ve noticed a major change in the quality of food lately. A couple of months ago we had steak that was chewy and was originally served almost raw when we ordered it medium rare. They refired the same cut of steak and it was then over cooked. We let it go because we had several great meals there. But then we’d had a couple more sub par meals. This last time will be our last time dining there. The owner/chef sat us barely greeting us and is always less than friendly unless he knows you. We ordered the octopus special as our appetizer and my first bite in there was a huge piece of plastic in our food. We let our waiter know who was incredibly apologetic and said he would let the kitchen know. The risotto special had zero flavor and at the end of the meal no one from the kitchen had come over to apologize for the plastic. The whole thing really put us off especially when you’re spending over $200 for a dinner for 2. My husband and I walked out and agreed we were done with Saly G’s. It’s a shame because it was our date night spot for the last couple of years."
