"I recommend D. Michael B for your next party. They were so easy to work and record. Our group of 25 was in the north of the balcony where we felt comfortable and surprisingly private. Aaliyah did everything to wait for our whole group. The food was served in time, was hot and delicious! I can't say enough good things! Thank you, DMB!"

"Overall our experience at the Carlyle Club was very good. The food was excellent, we were seated in a timely fashion and our food came out quickly and was well prepared. The band was playing some very nice jazz music and the noise level wasn't too high. Overall a great place for a romantic dinner with a special someone. The only complaint was with the server. While very nice he was quite forgetful, I never received a refill of my water glass even though I asked twice and served desert without silverware so we had to stare at it a while before we could eat it."

"Table Talk is one of my favorite restaurants in Alexandria for breakfast. Their French toast is off the chain. What dreams are made of. I have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner there and will tell you that it seems to me that as the day goes on, quality goes down. Breakfast is 100+ five thousand stars. Lunch is good and hearty quality food—but not super remarkable. I’ve only eaten dinner there twice and I wasn’t super impressed. I wasn’t disgusted but I didn’t feel like it was worth what they charge for dinner. Just not great. Stick to breakfast or lunch there and you’ll never regret it. Staff is so friendly and the owner is awesome. They used to serve breakfast all day or at least until 3 PM, many years ago, and I wish they still did that. I’d go there any time of day for their hash browns and French toast. So good! Reasonably priced for breakfast and lunch too. Highly recommend!"

"Our waitress was excellent. Our service was very good. Our food for the most part was very good. Detractors were that something seemed a bit off with my pear martini, and it arrived after my food, but the server apologized right up front and comped it. My steak was a bit overcooked I ordered medium rare, and it came out closer to medium. It was still tender and tasty, so I didnât send it back. Finally, one of the parties near us got pretty loud and obnoxious as it got later. Nothing the restaurant could have done about it, but it was unpleasant and affected our experience. Everything else was great! And your French fries have vastly improved. Theyâre actually good now!"
