"That was a Sunday experience for me. We sat at the bar and we were expected from Tammi and Claire R. The service was good as it made an excellent task to explain the details of some of the menu items. I always consume a lot of liquid when I use this type of lunch after the bike tour at 87° Weather and my mountain pasture was filled. I had the mushroom burger for lunch. Believe it or not, it actually has a little too much goat cheese and was a complete mess when you went to get it. While the mushrooms seemed rather a reflection than I like. I asked for an average temperature and the burger was definitely medium, went well, but not unbearable. Overall it was delicious, but I expect it for a $19 burger. The frits were perfectly cooked and seasoned with enough salt. This place has both indoor and outdoor areas, but not all exterior seats are in the shade. When we arrived, there were only full sun seats, which is why we decided to sit at the bar. The place is clean including the toilets and each smiles that worked there, which is a good sign."

"Black Pearl is a real jewel. Our party of four were celebrating a birthday so we decided to splurge for the occasion. The restaurant is small, quiet and intimate. Candles, white linen tablecloths, red roses on the table created an elegant ambiance. The waiters provided impeccable service and of course, most importantly, the food was exceptional. We each had different entrees and appetizers and everyone was delighted with the taste and presentation of the food. Entree prices ranged from $25 to $32 . They serve wine only by the bottle and selections ranged in price. We were never rushed and were truly pampered by our server. We look forward to visiting the Black Pearl again soon."

"Took a friend in today that had never been in. This was my first time trying their breakfast. I could not believe the portions! And this is real, fresh food. I had the pecan french toast and the cinnamon butter that went with it was delicious. Absolutely perfect!! Our server Kris was so friendly and fantastic. As someone who opened and ran restaurants for 20 years, I so appreciated the greetings from all of the staff coming in and the goodbyes as we were leaving."
