"I had intended to dine here early one evening. I arrived smartly dressed, and took a seat outside. There were half a dozen other people sitting outside with drinks, and shortly before the waitress arrived, an English family, with several children, hungry for pizza, seated themselves just inside. I spoke to the waitress in Spanish, and asked if I might have a menu. I was surprised when she told me that there was a problem in the kitchen, and then in English, THE KITCHEN IS CLOSE-ED! I was a little taken aback, and said it was a shame, as it was my last night in Fuerteventura. I thought it was very strange, and noticed the English family were looking at menus. I went to another restaurant, which got quite busy, and I thought perhaps La Isla had not wanted to give a table to a solo diner. However, when I walked back past it, the place was almost empty, and the English family were eating, along with 3 or 4 other diners. I couldn 't see the waitress, or I would have spoken to her. I am still puzzled by the rather bizarre experience."

"I ate there twice, the first time was on a Friday night and service was slow because they were so busy with orders for outlier too. the second time was a weekday and it was so quiet and the service was much faster. eating is not...Disappoint and there are so many choices of pizza/paste etc. the personal is all beautiful. other members of our group have dined there during our stay and no one had a bad meal. the carrot cake changed my mind on carrot cake, it was divine and the profiterole were also beautiful."
