"We arrived at the pub 20 minutes before the FA cup semi final and the bar person confirmed it would be shown but was unfriendly and unwelcoming. However we perservered and ordered drinks and sat down. Kick off time came and went and no game came on. We asked again and the bar person said they didn 't have time to organise the TV and we decided to leave and try somewhere else. As we walked out of the pub she shouted at us- "have a nice night.. "very loud and sarcastically in front of the other customers. It was very unpleasant and embarrassing. We were pleased to get away and if you like football don 't go there unless you like being insulted !"

"Was very pleasantly surprised when we went in, was expecting a standard restaurant but it is built to a very high standard and looks very upmarket. Food was lovely and the prices were fair, very attentive service even when it was heaving on a Saturday night. Will be back"

"Had the staff last night, great service, amazing food, decent sizes and many variety, the price was very good (especially as numerous bottle wein, bottle beer and shorts / lilacs were consumed! , will recommend defiant and come back"
