"Many times we had lunch or dinner at the grotto restaurant of Massagno health, where the chef presented a Ticino-Lombarda cuisine with incursions, in homage to the wife, in Mexican cuisine. Now the chef has moved to capolago, sweet village on the banks of the ceresio, in a restaurant in the cellar area, and in fact the room is an old wine cellar for the preservation of the wine a small long and narrow place with a nice vault. Cozy, well-furnished environment, although a little noisy, very good cuisine with the same characteristics of the previous one, a good fish appetizer with shrimp, moscardini and marinated anchovies and a great long-cooked pork cheek with a sauce of chili and Mexican beans, really tasty. Friendly and helpful staff, great "red gold" of the "Agriloro". to return for a pleasant evening."

"This place looks very ordinary from the road but go in and you are in for a very special surprise.My wife and I spend a week every year in Ticino and never fail to make a detour to this superb restaurant. I think that this year was about our 12th visit and we have never been disappointed.This year I had a seafood soup which was excellent and my wife had a salad which was fresh and tasty. For our mains I had squid and my wife had guinea fowl, both were well presented and delicious.I agree with a previous review that one can get a little carried away and spend more that planned but diners will not be disappointed.I once had swordfish and it was far better than I had previously sampled on the Mediterranean islands."
