"I arrived at my hotel in Hirschau this evening for a business meeting tomorrow morning and was irritated to find that the hotels restaurant was closed on Monday. However I was directed to Högers by the hotelier and now, after a superb meal he is totally forgiven. On such a cold evening a warming soup beckoned and the Onion Soup was probably the best I have ever had. Next the Venison accompanied with mini dumplings and tempura battered vegetables. The batter was just so light and crisp! I hardly had room for sweet but as I gaze on the Panna Cotta I’m just about to eat I know that once more this evening I’ve made the perfect choice."

"In the summer of 2021 we were looking for an accommodation near the Monte Kaolino amusement park on the “Högers” in Hirschau. Despite the Corona restriction, it was a great stay. Mr Höger is a top-class host! Despite a very tight staff situation, we were welcomed friendly and attentive. Our room for our three-day stay was pleasantly large, very cozy and clean. The crowning is however the offered foods and the pleasant ambience in the restaurant and outdoor areas. Breakfast was very extensive, all fresh and every wish was fulfilled. A dream were the tapas for dinner We can recommend the "Högers" unrestricted and would be happy to be back there soon!"
