"The shawarmas are magnificent! I need to make this place a regular hang out so I can sample the full range of shawarmas on their menu. The venue itself is quaint and small with a lovely atmosphere, but more of a vibe at the outside tables than the indoors ones. Staff are friendly and efficient."

"Definitely of the best Schwarma's in Joburg! I found it cute that they had a little shop by the entrance and it blended in perfectly with the restaurant environment. The portions are well worth it for the price. I'd recommend the beef schwarma over the chicken though, I feel as if the chicken gets lost when mixed with the other ingredients.<br/ <br/ The food was good, atmosphere was great. What else can one ask for? <br/"

"Hands down, one of the best restaurants in downtown. Jacky and Alexi are absolutely amazing and always willing to go the extra mile in offering excellent and efficient service to customers. Food is delicious and made fresh to order. Service at the 'window ' is absolutely great and done with lots of smiles and kindness. Definitely worth a visit should you be in Marshalltown, Johannesburg. The pop-up shops which support black, young entrepreneurs are such a brilliant initiative!"

"As far as Ocean Basket's go, I was impressed with my visit to this little outlet serving up seafood and sushi at Morning View Centre. <br/ <br/ Service: <br/ Friendly, attentive and quick!<br/ <br/ Food: <br/ It was a cold, rainy day so I wanted typical comfort food offerings so I decided to sample some of the new dishes recommended by the waiter.<br/ Tomato Fish Soup: Tomato Mediterranean herb soup with white fish pieces. This soup was well prepared but my least favourite dish of the day and just not to my tastes at all. <br/ Grilled calamari tossed in Mediterranean salsa topped with rocket.<br/ Creamy Salmon Soup, with a rich, velvety texture and a sprinkle of spring onion for zest. This creamy salmon soup was absolute perfection and had so much flavour! <br/ Deep fried Warehou Goujons with zesty mayo. Silver Warehou is a game fish sourced from the deep Pacific waters of New Zealand and has firm, white flesh with a high fat content that is ideally suited to Winter feasting, offering a thick fillet with very few bones. "Great vibe and very enjoyable food all round. Staff were excellent and gave us sufficient attention and kept our wine and water chilled on a hot evening. The quality of the fish and prawns seemed to be very good and the flavours were distinct everyone enjoyed their meal. Very generous with the bread and sauce when we were seated as well."
