"Kind of a weird vibe from this place. Maybe it 's different during the day. We came here because it was open late on a Monday night and it was deserted other than a couple patrons outside smoking and drinking. The uniformed server/bartender/cashier guy that greeted us seemed almost disappointed that we wanted food at that time. There was another person behind the counter in plain clothes engrossed in their phone who turned out to be the chef I guess. I picked this place out since it was listed as a Mediterranean restaurant with really good reviews but the menu seemed way more bar and grill with a splash of Mediterranean. I wound up ordering a gyro wrap and my boyfriend ordered a pastrami sandwich. He was hoping to customize it slightly with the removal of tomatoes and substitution of some ingredients but they ended up forgetting to hold the tomatoes and just didn 't have alternative mustards or cheeses other than the American variety which is kind of weird for a pastrami sandwich. While we were waiting I did have a look around the restaurant. The dining area is huge and it 's by big windows which would probably be nice in the day if not a little ominous at night. The bar area is small with some high top seating and sports playing in the background. It was at this point that I heard sounds of a microwave going off which was a little disappointing. Since there were literally no other people getting food at that time I could only think of a few things that were being heated up a snack for the employees or really, just the meats in our meals. It is a Mediterranean place although not necessarily a gyro place so I didn 't see any vertical rotisserie but I 've definitely had microwaved gryo before and the soft floppy gyro meat that I got was an indication of that. There is a chance they might have microwaved the pastrami as well which is unfortunate since both would have been amazing griddled on a flat top. The gyro portion turned out to be pretty big and tasted pretty good as a whole. The lavash bread was great and a nice change to a sea of pitas out there. The cucumber and tomatoes inside were fresh and the tzatziki inside was light. It 's a good thing this was a bigger portion because it needed to feed the two of us. The pastrami sandwich was quite flat. This was a fine choice for an emergency late night meal in the rather sleepy Sunnyvale area that wasn 't fast food but other than the rescue factor, I 'd give it a skip."

"Really enjoyed the food here! It was cool to choose exactly what you wanted and seeing them making your food right in front of you. I had the chicken shawarma in the pita, and it was delicious; I especially liked the hummus inside the pita. The fries were nice and crispy, but they got dry and hard a little too quickly, which is my only gripe. The staff were excellent and served us quickly."

"Gross ? no flavor at all, Greek olives ? had seeds it them wasn?t for warned almost broke one of my button teeth. the workers had no joy. Walked around like they were moping. This place was empty as well. I received no water with my meal. Wouldn?t recommend coming here."

"Well I came because I was hungry and wanted me some healthy food. I looked at the yelp reviews and noted a bunch of stellar reviews except one so I decided to disregard that review and give them a go. I told the lady behind the counter that I had no idea what to order and to please give me some recommendations. She smiled and walked me through the menu items and gave me input on the items she liked best. After stuffing my bowl with Falafels, rice, beets, Cauliflower, red onions, something that looks like salsa, some kind of chicken and a bunch of other stuff “ included was also a small bowl of soup” I went to the condiment table and poured me some of their sauces, got me a table and ate. Overall the food was really good except for the Falafels were on the dry hard side, the soup was amazing and the Cauliflower?? For-get-ah-bout-it! “I could have eaten a whole bowl of just that alone” Overall the bowl and service gets a solid 4 stars “hell yes I’ll be back”"
