"This has been a staple among highpoint's foodcourt scene for over a decade. I wish they reverted back to their old sauces before they went fat free. I feel the food nowadays is alot dryer and not at the level of what it used to be. Laksa's remain excellent though."

"Finally a place that serves truly authentic malay food. The place itself is quite small with no frills. But the food was awesome. Lovely, friendly staff. I will be visiting regularly for sure."

"EDIT 15/12/16 Cassidy After getting Seasons fresh pamphlet dropped in our mailbox this week, we wanted to get some food delivered tonight, only to be told the wait time was over 1.5 hours. Yeah I don't think so this is the second time they've said this to us, so this is clearly a standard thing they do to deter deliveries. We hung up and are ordering elsewhere. <br/ <br/ Cassidy – we ordered the Golden Mixed Entrée platter, crispy soft shell crab, sweet sour pork, spicy BBQ chicken and special fried rice. From the platter I tried the prawn toast and the spring roll. The prawn toast was lovely. The texture of the toast was really nice and I would likely order it again. The spring roll was standard, and I had it with some of their lemon dipping sauce which was delicious. The soft shell crab was tasty, a nice change from wontons for me.<br/ <br/ In the mains my dish was the pork, it was good, and there were some nice crispy battered pieces in amongst it. Rice was also tasty, the only minor downfall was that there was literally only three prawns in a large serving. All in all I really enjoyed the meal and am looking forward to going back. <br/ <br/ Sneakers – when I ordered the spicy BBQ chicken I was expecting to receive some chicken pieces with crispy skin covered in a spicy powder, but the meal was a wok cooked chicken with some veggies and a delicious spicy sauce. Even though it was far from what I was expecting I found it to be delicious with just the right amount of heat and good flavour at the same time. The fried rice was great, and I liked the sweet sour pork. The only way they could improve would be by making the pieces of pork a bit bigger. Their satay chicken skewers (from the platter) were really good. The glasses were amongst the cleanest glasses I’ve ever seen at a restaurant which is awesome. Sadly on the flip side the cutlery good use a little work. "This is truly my favourite restaurant and have been coming here for 30 years plus. Originally located further down Burwood Road it’s been settled here on the corner of Henry Street for a long time now. <br/>My favourite is the mee goreng or curry laksa with roti and sauce. <br/>The specials are always good. Busy during lunch hour with Swinburne Uni not far away. Check the website for opening hours. Good takeaway as well. <br/>The best part is that I’ve known the staff for so long and they always greet me like an old friend. They’ve watched me from pregnancy to my eldest being 21!<br/>Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. High chairs available. Parking isn’t too bad. Note it is cash only. <br/>Looking forward to many more lunches and dinners here which I now share with friends."

"My wife and I were eager for some Vietnamese cuisine and, after conducting thorough research via Google reviews, we chose this restaurant. We opted for the spicy chicken ribs, Sichuan beef stir-fry, and shaking beef. I must note that the prices here lean towards the higher side of the spectrum. Unfortunately, the chicken ribs were disappointingly salty and excessively oily. They lacked the expected crunchiness in the coating, and in some instances, I even noticed traces of undercooked meat, which was off-putting. The Sichuan beef, I must say, left us utterly appalled. Instead of the expected spicy kick, it delivered an overwhelmingly cloying sweetness that resembled a dessert, and any trace of authentic Sichuan flavors was completely absent. To make matters worse, black bean paste seemed to have taken over the dish, drowning out any subtleties. The excessively oily sauce was genuinely revolting and made it nearly impossible to savor any redeeming qualities the dish might have had. Similarly, the shaking beef dish suffered from an excessive sweetness. The meat, supposed to have a steak-like quality, was unfortunately overcooked, and the excessively dark color was not visually appealing. Overall, our experience was less than satisfactory. I haven't had the opportunity to try their Pho, which appeared visually appealing and may be worth a try, but, regrettably, I don't foresee a return visit for me. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2"

"I absolutely recommend Sijori Malay Eatery. I have followed them on YouTube for so long and yet have tried their food until recently. Very authentic, tasty and the quality by far the best I have tried being in Melbourne for 14 years. Definitely will order again from them. Thank you so much. ????"
