"We found this restaurant in 2013 when we were in Paris for a few days. It was near the apartment we rented and we chose it by chance on the first day we arrived; it looked charming and Italian sounded good. So we ate here... The Auberginenparmesan was one of the best my wife ever had! And my meal was also excellent. Our experience was so memorable that we would refer back to this meal and say: Remember the meal we had in Paris on the first day? So... this trip (2017, before we left Paris, we decided to revisit the restaurant when it was still in business and hopefully have another excellent meal. Although we didn't even have the name of the restaurant, we found it on site and some photos we had... We were not disappointed. The meal we had was extraordinary. My wife had the Auberginenparm again (of course and I had Spaghetti Carbonara. All right. Nothing was left on the plates. The green salad with fresh mozzarella and pesto was also delicious. The waitress was very nice and also spoke excellent English (she had lived in L.A. for a while, so was comfortable in conversation. I just wish I lived here nearby so I could try everything else on the menu."

"It's a small, intimate restaurant. I felt like I stepped back in time. I'm not sure if it was the day of the week, but there was a little jazz band that was early 20. Century music played and some of the folks were dressed like... this time! The food was great. I had an eggplant parmesan and ratatouille style dish. The menu is so advised in Italian. The owner is very pleasant and he explained it to me in French. You know they care about the prepared meals. It is definitely one of my favorite memories from my trip to Paris!"
