"This place is very nice inside and even though when we went there we were the only customers (it was a Monday evening), the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The owner, Steve, was also very friendly and made sure that my friends and I had a hood time. The drinks were good too and not super expensive. On average, they cost $150 pesos, which is 6-7 USD. They don't serve food at the moment, so I would recommend eating before or maybe later. I am sure this place will be busier at the weekend and also later at night because they close at 2.00 AM"

"There is once again a lunch buffet at the upstairs version of the street level Terrannova after it was suspended during the recent protests I thinks it's offered Friday, Saturday, and Sundry but you might ask first. it's a much better option than ordering off the menu!.It's a little hard to even find the entrance and stairs going up (making your way past downstairs waiters holding menus in your face, and sending your way through closely spaced tables, but we find the upstairs much preferable to the street side tables. The Buffet was quite good, with pretty extensive salad makings, two types of soups and various hot offerings, several of which were surprisingly good: chicken with salsa de hierba santa, rabbit, pork ribs, and mojarra/fish fillet, among other more standard offerings. The desserts seemed even better than usual, including a fresh apple strudel and a rum infused chocolate cake. Service is attentive; beverages are not included in the reasonable price of 135 pesos.If one arrives early, around 2:00, it's possible to secure a table that overlooks all the activity in the Zocalo without the incessant importuning of street vendors.Clientele is mainly local. There is live music starting around 3:00."

"The outside of the restaurant says "Restaurante Royalty" but some of the food is prepred by a young Argentine couple going under the cafe name of Che Boludo", and it is their food I am reviewing. We decided to skip the usual Meixcan food and we took a chance and ordered salads.Come to find out, the salads, smoothies, and Argentine empanadas are made by an Argentine couple. And these salads are great! They include goat cheese (queso de cabra), julieneed sweet red peppers, finely cut black olives, small peieces of dried fruit, avacado, 4 different kinds of lettuce, and a host of other ingredients, including a side of a nice, smooth vinagrette/oil dressing. All for 65 pesos. We had been eating similar salads at other restaurants but for much higher prices, and with less tasty dressing..In addition the drinks we ordered--"aguas", which are fruit juices thinned with water (not "licuados", which are fruit juices mixed with dairy) were called Pepino, and they were a refreshing mix of cucumber and honeydew melon combined with water.. The Argentine empanadas make a great side, and they can be taken to go and eaten as an anytime snack.All in all, delicious budget eating."
