"This is a really great restaurant where the meat is prepared on an open grill in the restaurant. The chef is amazing juggling a large number of different cuts of meat, all requiring different cooking times and the result is excellent. We have eaten here...before but it is my favourite restaurant in Saint Gervais. In addition the service from the waiting staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They make you feel so welcome and as a tourist you are treated just as well as the locals who eat there in numbers. I had a fillet steak my son duck which was just perfect. I truly recommend Le Galeta you will not be disappointed! They also have a very good wine list."

"I ate in this restaurant with my girlfriend.To start a small cup of nice champagne and a surprising alpine whisky choice between two entirely organic menu me that really am not a organic follower it was really superproduct fresh we took in platlotte to the gamay of savoie escalope of mountain calf with a delicious organic squash bread to finish my sauce a nice wine cellar with local wines and organic quick service two"
