"I was lost on the way down the golf freeway when I happened to this place and thought I would support a place I've never been. I think I felt adventurous and decided to roll the cube. I think twice before I do this with random tex Mex cuisine, unless I am in the valley. I ordered a simple rinderquesadilla and it came with a side of friijoles a la charra and a bit salsa. the quesadilla needed a couple of dizzying, because that was swimming in her own fat. I am a member of the cpc (clean plate club,) but I refused to finish this. while the taste of the friijoles was on the point, they also needed a snorkel, as there were about six small bores in the whole dang cup, so that all seemed like there was 95% liquid. where are the beans at bro? the dame that took my order was very professional, although there was a language barrier. if all this lady was the main reason, this evaluation is not a star, so it propagates. the other males usually seem to have an opposite opinion than that of my experience, so if I ever find myself back in this restaurant, I will be open to changing my review (by my personal rule, 2 3 star ratings give a different chance.) if I."

"First, clean and great service. Second, it's located on Hanes Mall Blvd, but easy to access right next to the I 40 ramps. You can order anything here and be happy. The seafood dishes are higher than other Mexican restaurants I've been to.However, you get what you pay for. I've been many times and never left a review, well... My photos show the California Burritoand a side of beans and rice. Each seem portioned for two people... I ate half sitting and half later. Great value: to enjoyfresh and get a takeout meal. Did I mention their chips and salsa... I am now. Very smooth. I'll update my review withsomething from the drink menu in the future. I've always been able to get a table without waiting... But, part of me wants thatto change. Don Tequila's should be far busier than it's competitors around Hanes Mall because their food and experience issuperior. Try it for yourself and you'll have the same questions... But you'll be totally satisfied."

"To start off this place LACKS customer service. The employees seem like they don?t want to be there, I don?t understand if you don?t like the serving industry why even bother to work in one?!? Today my husband and I ordered Caldo de Res. The potatoes on both our plates were undercooked/raw! I told the waitress and all she said was ? oh I?ll let the cook know?. We didn?t even get an apology nor an opportunity to order something else from the menu. Needless to say it was very disappointing, the flavor on the beef soup and beef it self was bland lacked flavor. Highly DO NOT recommend this location. Save your self the trip go somewhere else."
