"We discovered this across from Coqui , the kids amusement park. The kids were lobbying us to visit this for dinner through our 10 day stay in the area but we adults resisted thinking why would any body want to go to a pizza place called 'Funky Pizza '. We finally relented and went on a Thursday night. Were asked if we had reservations (we didn 't , why would we think we would have needed one on a week day night). The hostess was gracious and seated us in the bar area (technically just elevated tables). There were open tables but within 10 minutes they filled up with people with prior bookings. The service was fast and courteous. Our server, Gerard, was the best. We ordered a salad, pizza, and nachos. The pizza was the best we as a family we have ever had. Prices reasonable, atmosphere, in the summer, is open and family friendly. There seemed to be a stage for concert/live music over the weekends I am sure. And after dinner, of course we took a dog leg left turn at the exit and of course went to Coqui for good old fashioned kids entertainment at the amusement park!"

"This place is just next to the new tourist office (just before Aldi on the right) and it's really good. I for one, get fed up of the established local restaurants serving up the same old dishes year after year with the only difference between them being the service and the price. The carta is similar throughout. So how nice is it to have young people trying to do something different at the same time as giving respect to the local culinary traditions? It's only open at lunchtime until the season starts for good but we had a lovely set menu lunch including 3 tasty courses, bread and wine for E10 per person. it was fantastic value but it was also creative which is something you don't often get in Palafrugell, Calella and Llafranc, Casamar and Far Nomo excepted. Oh, and the kitchen is open and you can see the chef preparing your food and the toilets which are shared with the tourist office must be the best restaurant toilets in the area! Try it. I promise you that you won't be disappointed."
