"Our party of 3 went to dine at Coppersmith for brunch on a Sunday. We had a reservation for 11:15 and were stuck standing at the entry for 10min after our reservation time before being acknowledged by any staff. We were then seated and when we tried to order coffee, there was apparently a problem with the coffee machine...at a brunch place...which our server didn 't seem to think was much of an issue. We ordered and after a long wait, the food finally came out. It was all cold and very greasy from sitting around. We informed our server of this and they went to speak with the manager. Also, when we asked for salt and pepper for the food, they said We don 't have pepper. They were finally able to determine that the heating lamps were not functioning in the kitchen. The coffee came after 45min and after the food had arrived. We very much understand that restaurants are short-staffed, but this experience did not meet minimum dining standards. In the end our server was very apologetic and our entire meal was comped (we still left a tip) so we appreciate management 's efforts to make things right."
