"I can't recommend this place enough with my highest endorsement. This is my family's favorite Mexican food in the area. We live down the street and come at least once a week.The food is consistently excellent.In particular, the rice and beans, salsas (especially the jalapeno salsa(, and horchata.My two absolute favorites are quesadillas de carne asada and mulitas de lengua.Always fast, fresh, and a great value.The only complaint is their hours have been cut short closing at 5pm so it makes dinner from JDAS very unlikely but if they can make a good living with the hours they're working that's awesome for them! I wish I could have JDAS at night when I get my cravings for delicious Mexican food.Keep up the good work!"

"I went there on Saturday, I like the location and the coffee shop was really nice and quiet. I order 2 black coffees that were fresh and with good taste. Also I order a cold dirty chai it was definitely good. The garden is really nice to enjoy my drinks. The service was good and the prices are FAIR."

"The places we find when we drive around... we stopped in altadena. I think we were worn when we ordered our food. I had a breakfast sandwich and my wife had the Cobb salad and we shared a Belgin wafer with all fixes.... this place was really damn good. Yeah, parking is tight... They were warned. That was really delicious and you get what you pay. You will not be disappointed"

"First time here. I like this place. I ordered The Don which is pizza with homemade sausage etc. I really like their sauce which is also homemade. Set in a small shopping center in Altadena. "Oh, where I started... when we came and sat, there was a dead fly on the table. The salsa for the chips was bad, the Cilantro became black. We could be better off the dead fly, then the waitress. The food was not all they need someone to give taste and not use old veggies. No Bueno"
