"My son and I discovered Yin Yang Sushi at the Sunday market at the La Cruz marina and had lunch; we were not disappointed. The sushi is exceptional. We were so happy to find a sushi place in La Cruz and one of such excellent...quality that when we discovered that they also delivered, we took menus and business cards for home. Since that time, we have enjoyed excellent sushi at home several times. My son and I are sushi enthusiasts and we try to find sushi where ever travel and have opportunity. For that reason, I can say, Yin Yang Sushi knows sushi. The combination of very fresh ingredients of fish and vegetables and excellent sushi rice prepared with the right consistency and taste and more importantly perhaps, someone with a good hand for making sushi, all come together to create an exceptional sushi experience. La Cruz is lucky to have this excellent restaurant close to the marina and with greater luck, this sushi chef, Jonatan, will continue to make delicious sushi for locals and visitors alike for many years. Yin Yang sushi can be found in the various markets during high season and also has a permanent location in La Cruz; delivery to your door, yacht or vacation rental home for a perfect sushi dinner at home."

"We decided to try this restaurant on the recommendation of friends. I was disappointed in the overall experience. The service was so so, all the staff was friendly however the attention to customers needs was lacking. We ordered shrimp fajitas they were OK, nothing special....The beer was served ice cold. They have a lot of tables with umbrellas/palapas so you can get out of the sun. It's more of an experience eating with the locals and people watching than anything else!!!"

"You can eat fresh seafood in Rey Bombon. Ceviche is really good (fish or shrimp). Not a fancy place, but the relationship price-food is one of the best in the neighborhood. We tryied tostadas de pulpo, ceviche de camarón, empanadas de camarón and ceviche. Eveything...was really good!"

"Let's start with the positives- lovely location, food good (especially the tuna tartare) attentive staff and the negatives - the sun beds and parasols are lacking a bit of love and care and need replacing, the beach is a bit pebbly so recommend to go in ocean with care (good spot to the left). Overall it's fine and would go again"

"Pathetic offerings. No freshly cooked eggs until we asked for them. The remainder of foods were lukewarm at best. Keeping my fingers crossed that we don't get sick. Maybe it's okay for drinks, but I'd say that's all."

"2022 Update: still amazing and so delicious. Future self remember to try the chiles rellenos on Fridays and everyone thought the enchiladas were the best in town. My favourite place to eat in La Cruz. They make delicious yet simple food her cubana torta is wonderful. Check out the specials they make on Fridays. Ps if you are like me and didn’t practice your Spanish before your trip, don’t worry as the warm and welcoming owner’s english is great :"

"Definitely our favorite restaurant in the area and one of the favorites overall. The place looks high end but prices are not necessarily, not to mention we could go in swimming clothes with no issues. GREAT margaritas, a must try. From food there are many good ones, special mentions to shrimp cocktail and queso fundido. Just be careful as it can feel cold with the sea breeze coming in through the large windows, for the most sensitive ones...."
