"The staff was very VERY friendly and kind. The atmosphere and the food was amazing. Portions were big and fulfilling. 4 starts because the wait for food was quite long but for me it was alright when you're in a conversation with your buddies. Edit: we ended up going 4 times there and it proven to be very consistent with their tasty dishes. For that I bump up the rating to 5/5. Easiest recommendation I've ever made."

"I notice that most negative reviews are quite old until I can say they don't even serve pasta anymore. I went twice while I was in dubrownik, and it was nice to have fresh ingredients for a relatiw good price as break from the expensive pasta sites. the Mexican tortilla is delicious, tasteful, fresh and filled! would definitely recommend."

"From the beginning to the end our dinner here was phenomenal. We ordered 3 dishes to share and each one was spectacular.To start off Lorenzo served us the best homemade hot bread I have ever had...none of us actually eat bread but it was so good that it was gone within minutes. The beefsteak Scala was phenomenal. Honestly the most delicious meal I've had in all of Croatia (after spending 5 weeks here). The cheese was perfectly melted and the meat was tender to the point that it fell apart in my mouth. The beefsteak Dubrovnik was cooked to medium rare perfection and the prosciutto that wrapped around it literally pushed it over into the next level. The pork medallions were accompanied by a rich white mushroom sauce that was enhanced by the soft yet crispy croquettes. Im still daydreaming over our dinner. Overall Iwas amazed at the quality of the food and the humble nature of the restaurant. The wine selection was excellent (ask for a recommendation depending on your order) and best part was the immaculate service. Honestly could not recommend more. The people next to us ordered pizza and even though we were beyond full when we saw the beautifully crafted pizzas we could not help but gawk... 10/10 will be back. I never take the time to review restaurants but this place is truly worth it. Beyond amazing staff, amazing food, and amazing prices ; we will be back soon to try much more of the extensive menu options!!! If you are looking to be blown away and don't mind a full plate go for the Beefsteak Scala... breathtaking "

"After travelling for 21 countries and living for 39 years old: until now, without a doubt: THE WORST FOOD EVER IN MY LIFE! About 15,5€ for The most horrible wok taken in my whole Life. The beer is really expensive as well! The place is horrible, The staff does not speak a single Word in english or any foreign language, and The food is absolutely disgusting. WORST choice in my trips until now. It's not 1 star. It must be Zero star!!!"

"I visited croatia and my family and I wanted pizza, so we came across this place. the place was full and we had to wait a few minutes (it was worth it). the hostess was really nice and also our server miku. the waiting time for our food was approx. 5 10 minutes. we ordered the Hawaiian pizza and the four cheese pizzas, and they were delicious! "
