"Ward 8 is a true cocktail lounge with inviting staff, chill vibes, and fantastic drinks. The menu is adventurous, the staff knows all the classic variations, and the food selection is great for a quick bite before heading out on the town. Also a great spot for a night cap before heading in for the evening. We were in from out of town but felt right at home here. Highly recommend."

"This is the second time I went and sat at the bar for multiple minutes with both managers staring at me and not saying anything at all. The first time it was the female manager and she was at the bar talking to a customer and she watched me sit down andnever said anything. Now it's 230 in the afternoon and the male manager with long hair and glasses was sitting at the bar as ifwas a customer and stared at me when I sat down and proceeded to walk in the back and disappear. I feel this treatment isDEFINITELY race motivated and I won't spend another dime here. TERRIBLE"

"I have been in the restaurant business many years. I had not ben to this place for about 3 years since they moved. I was back in town and came here. The breakfast still is the best around. Has hardly change a bit since they moved. Only thing is that they had only cans of soda instead of fountain drinks which is fine. Its a covid thing I guess. Staff is nice. The owner Yolanda came up and thanked us and was super nice."
