"Waren schon öfters im Sausalitos zum Essen und Cocktails trinken.Waren heute jedoch am Muttertag zum Brunch im Sausalitos. Waren letztes Jahr zur genau gleichen Zeit ebenfalls dort zum brunchen und haben somit einen direkten Vergleich wie es sich in einem Jahr verändert hat.Sausalitos ist ein PARADE beispiel dafür wenn die Quantität und Masse irgendwann mehr zählt als Qualität. Das Buffet hat immense Abstriche gemacht. Es gibt keine Person an der Waffelstation mehr, man muss sich die Waffeln selber am Waffeleisen zubereiten, es gibt keine Beschriftungen und man weiß leider nicht was die jeweiligen Gerichte sind/beinhalten. Es musste ein Koch gerufen werden der mir sagt welche Gerichte vegetarisch sind, aber selbst das war wohl zuviel gefragt ("Der Nudelsalat ist ein reiner Nudelsalat")Der Aufschnitt kam von der Qualität her dem 2 Euro Aufschnitt aus dem Aldi gleich, der Nudelsalat ist nicht selbstgemacht und schmeckte sehr ähnlich wie den den man im Supermarkt einer bekannten Marke kaufen kann. Die paniert gebratenen Champignons waren ungeniessbar, da ca. 1 mm Champignonscheiben in insgesamt 5 mm dicker Panade zu tode frittiert wurden. Für die Tomaten Mozarella Spieße und Tomaten Mozzarella Salat wird der Industrie Block-Mozzarella verwendet den man im Großhandel bekommt. Das gesamte Essen war zwar in Rechauds verteilt, jedoch komplett kalt, jegliches Gebäck machte keinen selbstgemachten Eindruck.Kellner sind total überfordert und reagieren schon fast ängstlich wenn man etwas zusätzlich bestellt und wir haben ca. 15 min auf unsere Kaffezubereitungen gewartet.Zusammengefasst können wir sagen, dass man hier über die Zeit hinweg DEUTLICHE Qualitäts Einsparungen vorgenommen hat um der Masse gerecht zu werden. Sehr schade, wir werden nicht noch einmal zum Brunchen kommen"

"I was hesitant to come here because of all the bad reviews but actually this place is one of the best places I’ve been to in Freiburg. We didn’t have a reservation but they seated us anyways. We got something like a street food platter...and a burger and sweet potato fries. The street food platter was huge and more than enough and the burger and fries were amazing. Please note I wouldn’t call this place like “Mexican” authentic but it was “Mexican-American” authentic and they had the spicy nacho cheese sauce to prove it! Also my whisky sour was totally on point and perfect. And our waitress was a gem."

"First class. We could not understand many of the other reviews. Service friendly and accommodating. The food came even faster than in the restaurant to the golden seagull. It is definitely worth the authentic Chinese map (behind part). The pig farm was fantastic, for example!"

"The food is fresh, authentic mexican and tasty, even if there are occasional, tastefully small changes. The map offers a wide range of dishes and cocktails. The price-performance ratio is right! The staff is friendly, the location is fine, but no matter how in a station hall and tight!, outside it is very nice. The train is nearby, can also be parked. All in all highly recommended as the change of staff is no longer recommended!!!!! First our order was taken unfriendly, then the wrong food came, then the right food with raw mushrooms that were forgotten to roast and then thrown over them, but all without cutlery for 10 minutes! In the end, the waiter wanted to cry, how full it is... wasn't even that...! After the payment we asked for a small compensation and got another tequila, one of us does not even drink! But I couldn't drink it because extremely contaminated!!! Dust and crumbs were there. Unfortunately, after three complete dissatisfaction, the El Gallo is no longer our main square!!! Juhuuuu... old staff back! Watch out and get back!... Only lamb is unfortunately not recommended here and the salad sauce is only available with lactose!"
