"I'm picky about Mexican restaurants. I grew up in Los Angeles and went to college in Arizona so I know good Mexican food. I like Mexican food so well I learned how to cook it. Don Garcia's is the real deal. I have been there several times since the food and prices are so good and it is just a couple of blocks away. The owner is great and takes an active interest in everything. When I moved from AZ to the PNW I despaired of ever finding an authentic Mexican restaurant. La Tarasca was good but who wanted to drive all the way to Centralia? Now I have been to 2 great Mexican restaurants in the olympia; Ramirez in Tumwater and Don Garcias in Lacey. Please take the time to let Don Garcia be your host. You won't regret it."

"This was my first time here as I came for lunch and I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is very clean and what I'd describe as a bit of a oceanic theme was a nice touch to the ambience. I ate inside today but the patio is well equipped to provide some great outdoor seating as well. I was served complimentary fresh tortilla chips which were still hot as they were made to order and a side of fresh salsa which were both fantastic. My entree was the Asada Burrito and i highly recommend it especially if you're arriving with a big appetite. Not only was the presentation on point but I could immediately tell after the first bite that the quality of ingredients was high. The burrito was accompanied by fresh rice and beans. In most places the sides feel like an afterthought but not here. With great food, fast and friendly staff, and a clean restaurant you can go to enjoy with family, i believe this to be one of the gems in Lacey."

"We have recently returned from a 3 week stay in Thailand. We were missing the food so we gave Esan Zap a try. So happy we did. I kept it simple with phad thai with shrimp 2 star heat level. It was so good. The shrimp were plump and fresh. We also had the boat soup. It was also excellent. So happy. We will visit often. Sorry we didn't take the picture before eating. We didn't think about doing a review until we found it so pleasing. The service was friendly and friendly."

"I was a little leery of this place because it just looks like a construction food truck but when I sank my teeth into my deluxe marinated pork fajita burrito I changed my mind. We are from Southern California and very picky about Mexican food, but we ended up coming back to this one for a second meal during our week long stay. I haven't tried everything there but the burrito I ate was worth five stars."

"Got the chilaquiles, very disappointed when I received nachos instead. Beans and rice that it came with was good! But if I wanted nachos I would've ordered nachos. Plus we had to get up and get the waitress to ask for more tortillas."

"Ive tried so many taco/burrito places, and nothing compares to El Taco Amigo! I cant pick one favorite either. The Mulitas carnitas( friend pork) , the Cheese birria tacos , and the Sopes are sooo delicious, they do not disappoint! I also enjoy the horchata!"
