"We all know that this is one of the largest names in oakland, so my expectations were set. very high. and homeroom has not disappointed! the restaurant hosts were amazing. "Reserved a table for a party of four. One of our friends was late, but we were seated anyway. There were actually plenty of tables on a weekday (Th. evening around 7:30. The service was really good. The waitress was really attentive and described the dishes really well. She gave us really interesting information about the cultural backgrounds of the food, while mixing the fresh, delicious ingredients at our table before we ate. The price was really doable considering the amount of food for four people. The dishes were brought out staggered so we could enjoy each one. The cocktails looked really good, but I wasn't drinking that night so I didn't have one unfortunately. Overall, really great birthday dinner experience for my friend."
