"….. in the beach of Punta de Mita. In the middle in the town which is honestly not really a beauty or a place to go to see. Different to the restaurant. Local decoration, maybe a bit too much geared towards the majority of clients from the North American market. Food is Mexican with decent preparation quality and size. We had several dishes like Arra hera, Camarones Azules, Pozole with Sea Food, Tuna steak, and a Dorade preparation. Best was definitely the desserts: mousse, frozen lenon pie and of course churros never miss in Mexico. Personnel friendly and attentive"

"Was our go-to every early afternoon after surfing. Friendly, comfortable, and the food was so good. Couldn’t get enough of the banana bread, verde smoothie, and ceviche!"

"Chose to celebrate my husband and my birthday here. The service was worse than horrible. Our dessert was served with the entree, and then they asked us to pay the bill. No candles even though requested. Just down right awful. I would not return."

"Sorry to say this was the least enjoyable experience of our recent trip. We made a reservation through Open Table and took a private driver to the resort. Our driver was stopped twice at different gates and we had to show our ID’s and I also gave them the email confirmation. We waited so long while the gate guard called the restaurant that we were late to our reservation. When we were arrived we were met by the dining manager who immediately informed us we shouldn’t have made a reservation on-line. They prefer you call directly to the resort. Which we also tried the day before and sat in hold for 20 minutes until the call disconnected. He was rude and not at all welcoming. We were seated and then another waiter came over and continued the shaming. We should have just left at that point but our driver had left (and did not want to return due to the hassle at the gate). The rest of the meal was tense and not particularly enjoyable because we had been so rudely received. The menu, as some others have mentioned, is overpriced and not creative or inspired. We had much better food in town and far better service. This place may be expensive but they are lacking in class and guest service. The irony is that we were deciding whether to extend our stay in Punta Mita and end our vacation at the St. Regis. Definitely not. Just know that if you make a reservation through Open Table be prepared to be treated as an unwelcome outsider. The 2 stars? For a decent view and iguanas which have more charm than the staff."
